Yes, I've lost so much interest in the place, 100marios put it so well too. I don't know what keeps me coming here though, I only have like 2 or 3 friends still here. And no one is really all that nice to me, but I guess I just feel I want to see what this place turns out like in the end.

who ME? NEVER! although i have seen a lot of people leave.... *sigh*

lol... everyone suffers this "fad" once in awhile... it's really just changes in posting style and the new influences from the new members that join. When I just joined, I posted a lot and loved everything too, and now that I'm not as new as before, i started posting things a bit slower and so on, but at the same time I also see new members who are posting as much as I did. I realize that it's really just a change in trend. The new members see everything as new and will furiously post with no ends (*cough*22sa*cough*) when they first join. The posting style introduced by new members, and the new threads made by them will affect the older members' feelings towards PC. It just may not be the older members' preferred way of posting/topics, which is what I believe to be the cause of this "dead feeling."

Right now we're discussing about establishing the T-Dome, which seems to be supported by a great variety of members. If the T-Dome ever gets released, it'll certainly help maintain the "more serious" style of posting, and that will certainly help keeping some of the members within PC.

Ok but will the T-Dome come fast enough? You have to admit that this place has been getting filled with some more spammy members lately...which onece again brings back the problem of members being to young. I'm hoping it will work out in the end, but as the past has shown us it's going to take a great deal of effort on the half on the vet's and older members here to keep this place up and running like it use to.

Yes. Lost interest somewhat in PC

Will add longer reply when I regain interest...

Ok...that was random...but this is whats becoming the norm nowadays on pc. Hope it will be fixed soon enough, at least have the T-Dome put up fast

Well, there have occasionally been a few dull moments when I was here, but overall, I would not say that I have lost interest in PC. I always look forward to coming here, and that's coming from someone who has been here a little over 10 months now. I mean, you have to make it enjoyable for yourself. You can't just expect everything to go exactly your way; Everyone is different, and we all make different decisions. A way that would help spring up more activity would probably be if some people made more interesting topics, and actually discussed things together, etc. Most people here, when replying to a thread that asks a question, will just answer it and be gone. You could comment on someone else's post, or whatever. Start up a conversation!

The reason why I think that PC has been a bit less interesting is because it's the summer, and most people are enjoying theirselves. And I mean in real life. School's starting back up again soon, and everyone's probably taking advantage of all of the free time that they have now. I bet that once people get back to their regular schedule then they might start making more time for PC, or whatever. That's just what I think.

Yep, bigger fourms(still dont know how to spell it) tend to have some really long dry spells during the summer. The thing though is that a lot of time it will cost the place some really good members like with Dakota today and like with Dizzy. Hopefully this place will get a little better once the summer is over and people get back on track.

Ten months really dosent seem like a long time to be here does it? I've only been here 6 months I think, so I guess you can still count me here as a newbii. It's when a member that has been here for longer amounts of time like 1 or 2 years and they quite then that catchs up with newbiis and makes them start to think " well hes been here that long and quite maybe I should to" or " there bashing newbiis! I wont post here" Becuse in reality a lot of member really are that naive and self based.

I was about to say something similar to that but than my dad took over the computer. The last forum I was regularly active at was huge, mainly because it is the official forum of a particular gaming company, which shall remain nameless. It was a great place, but then summer rolled around. Things were slowly dying. People were leaving; good, smart, active people. Some said they'd return in September, but they never did. Unfortunately, the place went way down hill after that and I was fed up. That's part of the reason I joined here.

I don't think it's possible for me to lose interest here yet. I've only been around for roughly three months. There's no reason for me to be bored, and I like it here, a lot. I like the fact that this place is relatively small. Conversations can actually last here. In some bigger forums, a thread will be on the next page within five minutes.

This is quite a interesting thread...

Yes, I agree TRIFORCE. There isn't a possible reason for me to lose interest either. I've been around here for at least seven months so far, and I'm never bored when I log onto this forum (Maybe once or twice, but not much), since there is so much to do, and even if one of the roleplays I'm in aren't currently active, there are some other things to do.

So, in conclusion, I'm not tired with PC, although there are some dull moments at certain times. '_'; But overall, I don't think I'll lose interest in PC soon.

I agree... No reason I would lost interest on PC, and on Pok?mon too...
I jut got back into RPs, the Crush thread is growing and each time I have to give warm welcomes to the newbies. Plus, the Family thread is going pretty well and I have LOTS of friends here. If I would left PC, 65% of my life would be ruinned... So Nah! I will be here forever! And If I ever left, PC will loose Lots of Insanity XD

I may not have been here anywhere near as long as some of the older members... but I'm starting to feel the same way too. I agree with Kayleigh in that it may have something to do with the fact that it's the summertime for a lot of us. Hopefully when school starts up again there will be something new to talk about. I do like the way Nick (FT) described the feeling on MSN yesterday,
"some members have left, and the new and exciting feeling is gone, mainly cause you've gotten used to it. Its no longer this new forum that you just cant wait to explore, cause you've already explored every inch of it."
Even though I've only been here for just over 6 months... I feel like I've been here longer and it's become all too familiar. Maybe when and if the T-dome gets done it'll make the forums more exciting knowing there's something new here... but for the time being, I have found myself getting a little bored with PC...

Lost interest? NEVER! I find this place to be totally awesome, as I have no Poke-loving friends in the flesh....

I'm actually wondering if people will be here even less when school is back in session...I think we're all going to have to budget our time much more wisely, meaning virtually no activity in the day, and lessened activity at night because of less time to fit PC in with homework, chores, jobs, etc. Then again, it may go the opposite way and there may be insane amounts of posting at night. I actually fear the latter because I don't have the typing speed or the internet speed to keep up with fast conversations; when I first came here I was terribly intimidated of Other Chat because it went so fast, and since it's all become a bit slower I've been able to fit in somewhat, but when topics grow a page every few minutes I get left in the dust. I hope it doesn't do that...

I admit I've gotten tired of PC at times, but usually only when something else in my life is bringing me down. I got very tired of it during the dare thread and girly-girl phase because all of PC's attention was drawn on a thread I didn't even care about, and it made the place less interesting for the moment. I don't think I've been here long enough to get truly bored of it, but at times when it's slow I do get momentarially bored.

Well last school year I found PC as kind of an escape from the real world, ya know? It was a way for me to relax and just chat. But then again, I am a procrastinator and I never really ended up doing my homework... especially once I got my own laptop. Heh, but anyways, at least for me, after school and work once I get a new job I'll probably use my spare time to come on PC... even if it is just a few hours at night. It seems like since I'm home all day some days during the summer that I have too much free time and coming online isn't really as exciting to me anymore since I can do it all day if I choose to. When I only get a few hours it seems better to me...

As for the girly-girl thing... I think it actually made PC more exciting for a day or two. After that it just got annoying. But at first it was something new to talk about that a lot of people on PC could be a part of. It was different for a change. But then it started getting out of hand and lasted too long... that's when it annoyed me. But that first day or so was fun. I didn't care about the dare thread either, but it did spark some excitement here for a change... at least that's what I think... even if it didn't stay exciting for long...

Well if I would be posting this a month before, I'd say no but this month got boring.
Sometimes I find myself posting the same thing over and over again. (I've been here for almost everday for the past 7 months so who wouldn't?)
And also, I find myself fading away little by little. I feel like I wasn't the person I used to be..
Anyways I haven't lost interest in it...yet and I hope I won't.

Well.. I've been posting less, so I guess that means yes. I have lost a tad of interest in PC. Mostly because there are hardly any cool peeps around anymore. =/ I mean, where's Dizzy? And I haven't heard from 100Marios for a while or Scotty-boi -__- There's a bunch of newbies around here that its not really fun. The only peeps I see that are active yet fun here are Casty and Kaga. =/ If I didn't mention anybody else, it must be cus you're boring. Hehehehe.. j/k =P
