5th Gen Haxorus vs [Hydreigon]

Without hesitation, Hydreigon.
Why not Haxorus? Come off it ! First it's just a Dragon Type Pokémon, and I widely prefer Hydreigon's double type, it's more interesting I think. Then, I hadn't noticed before that it was the "axe dragon pokémon", and it's disappointing, we can feel that there is lack of imagination at Nintendo. Moreover, it's not as badass as Hydreigon for the design (seriously, colours are bad chosen) :)
Ok, Hydreigon is a little... Strange, but at least, it's original. The first time I saw it, I jolted. Waw, that was a cool Pokémon. Whereas, when I discovered Haxorus, I just raised my eyebrow and thought "Geez, as disappointing as Druddigon..."
 
There are crazy people voting for Hazorus? Crrrrrrrazy! I honestly thought this would be no contest, but there's no accounting for taste! :D

Anyhoo, I'm a big Hydreigon fan, even though I wasn't confident in spelling it until about three months after purchasing Black. I love its design, its typing, its stats, its movepool, pretty much everything about it! It's probably my favourite Dragon (barring Kingdra of course). Haxorus, on the other hand, I've never really cared about, unfortunately. Its design is... 'interesting', but does nothing for me.
 
I slightly prefer Haxorus, at least when it comes to design. Since I don't battle competitively I don't overly care that Hydregion BST is higher then Haxorus. As for the event Pokemon movie Hydregion was shiny so if I was still event trading I'd definitely favor that comed to Iris Axew.
 
Hydreigon is a great Pokemon, good looks and has the best typing of all. Dark and Dragon. My 2 favorite types. It has some sad weaknesses but makes it up with its outstanding movepool. Haxorous is great too. Haxorous has a great move set as well. Good attack and defense. Its Special Defense hurts a bit. It has 2 weakness one being Ice a type that usually has enormous Special Attack and hinders it greatly. I would choose Hydreigon because of this.
 
Hydreigon is my favorite dragon-type. It does everything a dragon should...it's terrifying and vicious, even to it's trainer. The typing is awesome and unique. And it's design is just awesome. Definitely one of my alltime favorite Pokemon, and used in my party.

Three heads are better than one, don't forget it. (Even if they don't always get along)...

Haxorus is still a great Pokemon.
 
Hydreigon FTW. He has awesome stats, his typing is spot on, has a super diverse movepool, has an awesome ability, AND I have one and it friggin rocks socks! I also have a Fraxure, but I don't have a Haxorus. I might evolve someday though. Hydreigon is definitely better though. I love mine to death and he's great for when I might be in deep trouble, so I pull him right out and sweep! Mine knows Flamethrower, Dragon Pulse, Crunch, and Surf. I taught it Crunch because it's a dark move, and because I didn't want a full Special Hydreigon although I EV'd in Special Attack. I have so much love for Hydreigon!!

Anyways, I prefer Hydreigon over Haxorus, but Haxorus is better in some areas than a Hydreigon. I guess it really depends on your team and what you would be using it for.

It has a few weaknesses but can counter them easily thanks to a massive movepool.
 
It's a shame that Hydreigon has more votes, maybe because of it's stats but overall I think Haxorus looks better.

I like them both very much, but I voted for Haxorus. I think it's design looks a lot better than Hydreigons, especially as a shiny. The only thing I like better about Hydreigon is its powerful movepool, but Haxorus gets Earthquake/Brick Break so it can hit anything for neutral damage or more, too. Weakness to Fighting/Bug isn't the greatest thing in the world either.

I think they are pretty much equals, but again, I voted for Haxorus because I like its design way better.
 
Haxorus, he looks a lot cooler than Hydreigon in my opinion. Also I dislike Hydreigon for some reason, not sure why. I have never used any of them but Haxorus seems the easier and more usefull in game bacause you never even get a hydreigon until post game.

Druddigon is still better than both of them though....
 
Haxorus of course. In my opinion, Haxorus looks amazing, much better than Hydreigon, and he's great in battle. Unlike many, I could care less about the stats as I'm not one for competitive battling. I never really liked Hydreigon very much, so I never bothered to go and get one in my games, and I don't plan to. I actually like Zweilous better than Hydreigon, and Hydreigon is a bit overrated.

Hm... Haxorus is trailing by five votes... I hope we can fix that. ;>

Also, in terms of them being shiny Pokemon, Haxorus ends up looking even more epic whereas Hydreigon is just... eh, no better than normal.
 
Hydreigon. It is the first dragon type in a while that I have actually wanted to use. Great, unique typing, high stats, good moves. If it's used right, it can dominate entire teams.

Plus, three heads. What more do I need?
 
i have both, and i lean more towards hydreigon due to the fact that it looks cooler, has better stats, and is more diverse being that its a dark type and a dragon type where as haxorus is just dragon type. Both are very nice powerhouses to have on any poke party, just depends on one's preferences
 
I'm going to be biased and say Hydreigon because I don't have a Haxorus yet, although I really want to get one soon.
 
I have to say Hydreigon
Although Haxorus looks so cool - even better in shiny form, has an awesome attack stat and has amazing potential to set up DD, I still say Hydreigon due to its superior speed and amazing movepool.

Plus I already have preferred physical attackers over Haxorus that can be more diverse and aid my team better.
