4th Gen HeartGold/SoulSilver site opens! Image overhaul.

thats awesome, i take it that whoever is first in your party follows you. I thought it was just going to be your starter like in yellow

This is really random, but I love the skylight in that house in Cherrygrove City :D

I personally do not like Silvers ingame sprite.

Yay! it looks like Larvitar will be catchable earlier XD
i cant wait for these games! been waiting 10years (since originals came out) for them! whoo hoo!

The art looks really nice and the screenshots are making me more excited for these remakes :D

This was copied from the google translation of the website
The wild Pokemon appear, depending on the software in the same place, at the climax to his story, The Heart's HOUOU Gold, Silver, Seoul, the RUGIA, two dogs appeared legendary Pokemon![
does this mean that Lugia will only be in soulsilver, and Ho-oh will only be in heartgold? the originals had both in both games.

No, they already confirmed that you can catch both in each games. You just catch the other later in the game

Ah, google translate. Anyways...
The wild Pokemon appear, depending on the software in the same place, at the climax to his story, The Heart's HOUOU Gold, Silver, Seoul, the RUGIA, two dogs appeared legendary Pokemon!
This can also be taken to be that it's talking about the fact that depending on the game, Lugia and Ho-oh will be found in so-and-so part of the gameplay - i.e. you get one, and the other can be found afterwards (such as in GSC, where the 2nd came after the Elite Four and via talking to someone in Kanto). Apparently more relaible translations that Google have been made which say that you can get both in each game.

K so I went on Google Translation, and I clicked the far right button. Then I clicked on something in Japanese and I translated that and got this...

"In the former series, inserting in the monster ball, it carried about [pokemon] of the [te] having, the case of game put out from the ball and made fight, but ending with this work and putting out first [pokemon] 1 of having, from the ball and accompanying it reached the point where it can walk!
Of course, accompanying all [pokemon] to [pokemon] of legend, you can walk, the first partner!!"

Yea, HORRIBLE translation, I hate Google translation. But anyway.... I think it's saying that the Pokémon in your first slot is the one following you, and legendaries can follow you too.

Also, this:

You can also get Rayquaza?

to get rayquaza, you must bring together both kyogre and groudon into one game. this was already confirmed.

From how I read that translation it seems to be actually quite clear from other translations Google has attempted at. It is basically saying that the first Pokémon on your roster can follow you and it ranges from the first Pokémon to even legendaries. Which, this is true because all 493 Pokémon can now follow us and some are seen in the recent screenshots we have on the first post as well.

Also, yes, Rayquaza will be capturable in the game. It is said that once you capture Groudon or Kyogyre [who are exlcusive: Groundon in SoulSilver and Kyogre in HeartGold], and you've obtained them both in one version, then you will unlock Rayquaza. The only question about this though is how to capture them, as in if it'll have a set location afterwards or if they will be roaming, but that will come later I would believe.

Apparently, there are now claims that after some translations, there is confirmation that both Ho-oh and Lugia can be found in each game. Might need a spot more confirmation however?

Well, according to the translations, it seems to point to the fact that both of them are likely to be gotten in both versions.
But more than confirmation, we need more information on the official site.

Getting both Ho-oh and Lugia in each of the 2 games was definitely expected anyway, like you got one at the begining of the game and you get to other by talking to the elder in Pewter when you get to Kanto which gives your Silver or Rainbow Wing, so i think it works the same way in these games, but the real question is , do u think celebi will obtainable without an event in the game?

Yes, it was very much expected to have Lugia and Ho-Oh both available. Especially knowing that it only gives meaning to the two locations as well [Tin Towers and Whirl Islands]. Plus, it was done in the originals as well, which would only make sense to have them both back. The scans did a nice job portraying them here as well and I really like their first person view too.

As for Celebi, I doubt it'll be given freely into the game. More than likely it'll be held as an event through Wi-Fi or a game shop. The reason why is because if it was in the game, then we might have heard somethng about it already. I mean we've already got news on Arceus, Lugia, Ho-Oh, Jirachi, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, and even the Pichu event. So, I would think that if Celebi was to be given in the game without an event, then we might have gotten news on it already. Not to mention, it might have been noted on one fo the screenshots or scans we have now. Plus, holding Celebi as an event will only be a plus for GameFreak and Nintendo rather than giving it freely within the game.

I agree, there most likely will be an event that gives away the GS ball and then you can take it to the shrine in Ilex Forest and then fight a Celebi. ( Well, thats what i hope at least ^_^)

Just by the looks of HG/SS its already beating out Platinum.
