I think Charine might have been an inaccurate translation, or something. I doubt they'd change her name for no reason...

RSE takes place during the same time as FR/LG, which is three years before the events of HG/SS, so maybe there will be another time capsule to enable trade with those games.

As for DPPt, it takes place during the same time as HG/SS, so you'll probably be able to trade normally with them.

Anyway, answering the poll, there will most likely be a fan translation, I don't think either Emerald, FR/LG or even Platinum was as anticipated as these games.
 
No these remakes are the biggest news to fans right now, seeing as it was so highly wanted. By the way, I think there will be a fan translation like they did in Platinum, it seems possible.

Oh like they just go through the Jap. Version of it and translate things, like the plot? I think that could happen, I mean if you really wanted to that for people then that's nice!
 
Yep it comes in really handy. Plus, I would say that GameFreak doesn't mind because they get more sales on the game anyway it goes.
 
That way people could decide if they want it or not, I guess. I hope the fan translation happen.

Yep, and then it's available as a patch for the rom. Of course, some translations may go only as far as translating dialogue that was in the originals, kinda like the one for Platinum.

And to be honest, I think anyone who is willing to try a fan translation will most definitely buy it when it's released. :p
 
Idk if this has been said but are you going to be able to let any pokemon follow you? From the Pichu event It seems as if the Pichu was following Gold/Heart and there looked like there was no starter sprite behind him?

Well we've seen the starters following us, and we've seen the shiny Pichu follow us as well. It is just too early and unsure of right now to know if every Pokémon will follow us or only a certain chosen set of Pokémon. More than likely we'll find out as we get closer to the release of the game in Japan.
 
Though it's a great idea to have every and any Pokemon following you, 493 different over worlds is a little much don't you think?
Unless they decide to recycle Mystery Dungeon sprites, but that's pretty lame.
 
It wouldn't look to good to see PMD sprites actually, it's just different from the sprites in the main metagame of Pokémon.

Well I guess they could've made it selectable. It would be weird to see a Ho-oh or Lugia follow you.
 
There are just some Pokémon that are kind of strange to see following you.

Yes if Hg/Ss are sequels of Fr/Lg, then the time-events in games would have a slight change.

Yeah... But if Hg/Ss is the sequel of Fr/Lg, then Nintendo had the reason to follow the events in Fr/Lg.

Hahaha~ I agree so, so that might mean only a few Pokemon might follow the trainer. Maybe the starters will refuse to evolve just like in Pikachu Version...

I think only a few Pokemon will be selectable, maybe around 20.

A Gyarados following you would be ridiculous.
 
Any of the eeveelutions to follow will be great sight to see, except I would only hope starters can still evolve and follow. Or else, it wouldn't be fair to the people who want their starter to evolve and it refuses to do so. Though, I strongly believe that won't be the case.

Anyway, yeah it would kind of be hilarious to see Lugia and Ho-Oh following is, and yet everyone in the cities and towns speak to us like if they don't see it behind us.
