I'd be waiting for someone in my family to get the game and my brother bought it the day it was released, so, I gave it a go. And I have to say: I absolutely loved it. Although the controls were a bit buggered at some points - tilting your controller didn't work sometimes and it was like, "FFFFFFFFFF" - and it was difficult to see which controls to use, the gameplay is fantastic and the options you got were really realistic. At some points, I did think the choices you had to make were crazy intense and one of the choices made me cringe whilst playing (I felt the pain, truly). But that added to the plot. As OP said, it was really thought-provoking and I began to wonder if I'd ever make the choices I made main protoganists make.
As critics have said, it was like watching a film with some gameplay involved and that's what I really loved about it - I was supposed to watch Total Recall but played this instead. It was stunning to watch at some points and the plot was genuinely clever - the ending shocked me, homg. To get how great the game is, you need to experience it and I recommend everyone do so. Now.
(I'm now planning on playing the game but going against my natural instincts and seeing how the plotline turns out. I'm sure it'll be just as fantastic as the plotline I've experienced. d(' 'd))
