    'Ello there! Slate's my name (screen name) and I'm a huge Pokémon fan! I've been playing since Black and White at age 7, and been watching it since age 5! I even got my first video game (Pokémon Black) on my 7th birthday (I beat it a few months later)! I'm working on my own Pokémon Fan-game and it's not going well so far. But anyway, I hope to get to know people on this site more and just have fun with Pokémon!
     
    'ello there Slate, and welcome to the Pokecommunity! BW is an awesome set of games to get introduced to the Pokemon franchise too, good on ya! I came in a generation before you, with Diamond & Pearl. Engine was slow as heck but I loved every minute of me exploring the Sinnoh region and spamming Earthquake on Torterra everywhere I went lmao. I think it only took me under 3 weeks to finish it the first time around? I was pretty addicted as a child :p

    Nice to have another fan game maker in you too! Sucks to hear it ain't going well at the moment, perhaps you'd want some help? We have the Rom Hacking Help section if ever, along with a couple rom hacking channels over at the Pokecommunity Discord. Stop by if you need guidance!

    Welcome Slate. Black and White were such great games and have amazing replay value. I also watched the anime for a while, but I stopped quick some time ago. Great to see more fans of Black and White, and people who have been into Pokemon since they were younger, I remember watching the Black and White anime every morning before school and playing the games on my breaks, I hope you had good experiences with it, and best of luck with your fangame!
