Hey all! I am new to these forums but am no stranger to pokemon games. Am just starting my alpha sapphire today and am interested in getting to know a few people and maybe exchanging friend codes. Does the matsuda method still work? If so, how do I go about obtaining the everstone, destiny knot and a foreign ditto? (love breeding) :D If anyone can help me with that it would be great.

But a little about myself, I am 21, turn 22 in june. I have a beautiful fiance and we just had a baby boy Dec. 28th, 2014 and wouldnt give him up for anything! I own Pokemon White, White 2, Heartgold, X, Y, AS and mystery dungeon: gates of infinity. I love them all and am a big fan of heartgold's mechanic where the lead pokemon follows you (like the original yellow version).

If anyone is interested in exchanging FCs and chatting just let me know!

Hello there Toxiic! Welcome to PC and it's nice to meet you. That's cute to hear you have a family of your own there, and who knows maybe one day you might introduce your son to Pokemon.

So, how are you going with Alpha Sapphire? I already finished the main story and the Delta Episode within weeks of getting the game, and my fave part so far was using all those new Megas. As for your questions, you can consider asking them here where others who are also playing can assist you, but aside from that good luck. Nice to see you have a lot of the 5th and 6th Gen games, they've always been ones I've loved lately and I do agree that HG/SS's walking Pokemon was fun and it was sad it only ended up becoming exclusive to those games.

If you are interested in sharing friend codes we have a thread for that over in the X & Y section so consider taking a peek around there and you should be adding some new friends in no time. OR/AS are amazing, I've poured over 300 hours into them by now which is almost as much as how much I played X for paha. Masuda method still works, yeah, and you'll be able to get answers to your questions in the OR&AS forum's Q&A thread so much luck. You liked Gates to Infinity? Lots of people complained saying it wasn't as good as the older Mystery Dungeon games but I loved it personally, even with the unskippable cutscenes and slow text. Anyways, have an amazing time here. <3 If you need anything you're welcome to ask!

Good on ya'! Alpha Sapphire is pretty fun if I do say so myself! I hope you will have fun with the games! Which starter did you pick? I picked Torchic since that was my starter on Pokemon Ruby, so, thought I'd relive some good times! Ah, and its nice to see another long time Pokemon player! It's great to meet you, I'm Dragon~ n_n

Wow! First off, congrats on your new baby! Thats so exciting, you should let them play your Pokemon games as they get older!

Anyway, welcome to PC! Great to have you join us here. OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire are amazing remakes, you won't be disappointed. My favorite games are Heartgold and Soulsilver though, because Johto is my favorite region. And also, as you said, the follow me feature that was in HGSS was so awesome. I wish it would return!
