Help with my team!

So, here is my team. I use good OU Pokemon and I use them well but my team still seems to lack that something to be successful. It's probably the fact that I just see Pokemon individually instead of thinking how well they can cooperate together. I try not to use Pokemon with same weaknesses and I follow the 1 sweeper - 3 defensive core - 1 glue - 1 filler(either it is another sweeper or anything) team structure but I still kinda fail. Don't get me wrong, I win a good amount of battles and when I lose I give a good fight more often than not.

    Anyway here it is :

    Durian (Ferrothorn) (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Iron Barbs
    EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SDef
    IVs: 0 Spd
    Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Thunder Wave
    - Gyro Ball
    - Leech Seed

Ferrothorn is my mixed wall/annoyer. It counters a good amount of Pokemon like physical Garchomp, Landorus and other physical attackers while healing with leech seed. Gyro ball is good and hits hard fast Pokemon. T-wave is kinda counter productive with gyro ball in there but it's useful for messing up fast opponents that gyro ball can't really hurt anyway. He sets up rocks for me too which is always useful. Ferro is very useful in my team.

    Maddy (Gyarados) (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SDef
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Toxic
    - Waterfall
    - Taunt
    - Earthquake

Defensive Gyarados. I love Gyarados. He is one of the best Pokemon. He is versatile with his role. He can be an offensive DD, defensive annoyer/stallbreaker like the one I use, Bulky DD, or all-out attacker with assault vest(I use him too). Anyway, I opted to test this defensive gyarados cause I like it. He can taunt walls and other slow defensive Pokemon and toxic anyone. Waterfall for stab and earthquake for coverage.

    Paradox (Kyurem-B) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Teravolt
    EVs: 56 HP / 252 SAtk / 200 Spd
    Mild Nature (+SAtk, -Def)
    - Substitute
    - Fusion Bolt
    - Ice Beam
    - Earth Power

He was supposed to be my instant wallbreaker but I decided to go with this set because I feel like he needs to remain in the game longer. Like, he is bulky so with a sub he is gonna be awesome. Switch him in, sub and attack. He is versatile and hits hard.

    Beast (Landorus-T) (M) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Intimidate
    EVs: 132 HP / 252 Atk / 124 Def
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Rock Polish
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge
    - Knock Off

Another sweeper. He kills talonflame and uses knock off on anything that can't be killed with EQ or stone edge. He is quite good although I feel that the Choice Band set may be more fitting.

    Latios (M) @ Choice Specs
    Trait: Levitate
    EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Psyshock
    - Draco Meteor
    - Thunderbolt
    - Surf

I just adore Latios/Latias. They are great Pokemon. Cool type, awesome moves and really strong stats. Latios is my revenge killer and he works well with his diverse movepool. So much power behind every hit its not even funny.

    Neraida (Clefable) (F) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Unaware
    EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Wish
    - Heal Bell
    - Protect
    - Moonblast

Clefable is just an ideal wall because fairy type is great and she supports my team. I think I should switch her to Blissey cause I need more special defense in this team and besides my Pokemon aren't particularly weak to any type that fairies resist. Anyway Blissey I will try you I think.

    What do you think?

if you like defensive gyara, try using resttalk + a specially defensive spread. even with wish support, gyara can't take too many attacks due to sr and all the scalds/knock offs it needs to tank. 248hp/252spd allows you to beat zard y and lando.

lando-t: i don't like rock polish, i'd rather use double dance if i really wanted a lando-t to sweep. and use those evs in speed, not def.

latios: lo over specs and defog over surf.

If you're worrying about lack of sp.def, consider using Mega Gyarados over regular Gyarados. Intimidate helps with its physical bulk too.

Give Landorus a Choice Scarf and make it your Stealth Rock setter rather than Ferrothorn. It becomes very fast with a Scarf so you should have no problem with setting up rocks, with the downside being you'll have to switch straight after. Give it U-Turn as well - infinitely useful.

Try not to lean on Leftovers too much - there are other, better item combos out there for some of your Pokèmon.

Finally, remember that there are plenty of brilliant Pokèmon that aren't in OU - they can come as a nasty surprise as your opponent won't be expecting them!

You can also consider making Latios your Mega. Gets increased firepower, Knock Off is somewhat less damaging, and you can switch between moves, because it's really easy to wall Lati@s when it's locked into one move.

    Those items being.....?

Thunder Wave and Gyro Ball don't mesh well together because Gyro Ball gets stronger the faster the opponent is compared to Ferrothorn. Drop one of them for Power Whip or Protect.

Regular Gyarados is better at RestTalk than Mega Gyarados because it at least has passive recovery in Leftovers. A few turns of Leftovers recovery can make a difference

Without Speed investment, using Rock Polish on Therian Landorus is pointless. It should focus on only getting 1 Rock Polish boost. Have you considered double dance? You use the appropriate boosting move depending on the team, Rock Polish for offensive teams, Swords Dance for defensive ones:
    -Swords Dance
    -Rock Polish
    -Earthquake
    -Stone Edge
    Nature: Adamant
EVs: 56 HP/252 Atk/200 Spe (can't remember the exact spread)
    Item: Leftovers

And speaking of Leftovers it's the best defensive item to have out there, especially on things that lack reliable recovery moves.

When you put it that way....

Ferrothorn is great with a Rocky Helmet - between that, Iron Barbs and Leech Seed, you'll deal a lot of passive damage.

If you don't plan on Mega Evolving Gyarados, a Choice Band can give it a bit more oomph or a Wacan Berry can provide a little protection against those nasty Electric moves.

Kyurem will do better with a Life Orb, to take advantage of its high offensive stats.

And like I said, give Lando a Choice Scarf.

I just felt that giving two thirds of your team Leftovers is a tad excessive.

Ferrothorn would still rather have Leftovets because it will get worn down faster. And besides there are times when Ferrothorn can't afford to use Leech Seed to drain away targets.

Substitute and Life Orb is a big no no because it wears down Kyurem faster. Leftovers is the item to replenish lost HP steadily.

I don't think Kyurem should have substitute anyway, on the grounds that it doesn't need it to be effective.

Using the arguments you're using here, you could say that EVERY Pokèmon would prefer Leftovers to regain lost HP.

lol, dont use stealth rock on scarf land-t. scarf locks you into stealth rock and gives your opponent a free turn to setup or other shit. you're better off revenge killing with land-t with a full offensive set.

What does it mater? I said there are better choices than leftovers. Let's leave it at that.
you aren't really helping the op by 'leaving it at that'. if you are going to bring up the point, elaborate on it :/ it's the same as saying "dont use [insert pokemon here], use others instead." <- not helpful

Almost every Lando I've seen is Scarf / Stealth Rock. All you gotta do is switch after the rocks are up.

great, so seeing people use sr scarf land-t automatically makes it a great set! locking yourself into a non-damaging move is a very bad idea, cos you potentially give the opponent a free turn to lay their own hazards or setup in preparation for a sweep. heads up to archer too.

Not my problem, I don't use Lando anyway. I was giving the OP an idea of what to do with his team.
You, on the other hand, are deviating from what this thread is for (helping this guy build a team) by trying to start a pissing contest.

Please stop. Don't be like me.

SR is a bad move on just about every choiced Pokemon. Let's say I have a scarf Lando-T and you have an Azumarill. I set up SR while you switch to it. If I had Lefties or LO, I could have done decent damage and possibly leave it into my Scizor's Bullet Punch KO range (or any other prio move), but I'm setup fodder for Azu now, which means I'm in big trouble (nobody wants to face a +6 azu at 75% health!).

Not every Black Kyurem set needs Substitute; it can work just fine without it.

What I mean about Leftovers being for Pokemon that lack reliable recovery (except for Mega Evolutions) applies mainly to defensive Pokemon. Offensive Pokemon would rather have power-boosting items.
