Hey, been working on a ROM hack, new to pokecommunity

    My friend and I have been working on a fire red ROM hack for a few months and are starting to get the hang of it so hopefully we can really start cranking it out now. Anyone have any tips/ideas?

    Unfortunately I don't dabble in the hack-making side of things so I can't help out much but if you have game ideas feel free to post them in the Beginner's Lounge forum for feedback. Good way to bounce ideas off of others and get some comments on what you could improve on. ;3 Hope you guys will make something awesome for us in the future. Good luck and let me know if you're ever unsure of where to post!
     
    Thanks! What's GBAPGE? Never heard of that, but anything that will make life easier is good with me. And actually I do have a question about where to post something. Since it's only the two of us and we both have very little knowledge about how to work with the sprites, we were hoping to find someone to help us out with them or maybe walk us through what we need. I already have a male hero OW in but we need like everything else haha...so where would I go to find someone?

    You should head on over to the rom hacking section which I'm sure you already know about and ask either Spherical Ice or Christos (the mods of that section) about how you should go about making your hack. Both of them are pretty nice and they're very knowledgeable about hacking so I bet they could get you some pointers! :)

You are working on a ROM hack if you have sufficient images of your hack just see progressing hacks forum rule and post your hack there but first I suggest u to put it in beginner's lounge as you can get opinion of other PC members on it . If u have any
    problem feel free to ask me buddy I am also working on hack. okay then.

    Thanks I'll ask them! I did find the recruiting page and posted an "ad" on there, but honestly how likely am I to get any help from that? haha So maybe one of the mods will have a better solution

    Well I'm not too far along in it yet...so I feel like I gotta put some more work in it first before I post it. At least for right now I'm just looking for someone to help me out with a few sprites and such. My friend and I are cranking out some good scripts and story, but it just feels incomplete to me since we're still using the default sprites. But it's good to know I can always hop on here if I run into problems
