    Hiya. :3

    I go by Valkyrie (it's my nickname and my name for everything), and sometimes Val. :D I have both Pokemon X and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. I am 23, and dark type pokemon are my favorite ever. I grew up playing pokemon, and I absolutely refuse to stop. I just bought my brother a 3DS and Alpha Sapphire as well, so I now have someone to play with, but I don't have many friends on my list, unfortunately. D: That is why I joined here, so maybe I can meet people to add and just talk with. I am currently looking for flags in secret bases, because I am greedy and want to get cool items for mine. xD

    It's great to see long-time fans of the franchise here; I grew up with Pokemon too and, despite its waning public popularity (it's been years since it's been "cool" to like Pokemon after all, unfortunately) I'm still going strong with the franchise as well. How are you finding Alpha Sapphire thus far? :3

    Thank you so much! :) I am actually REALLY enjoying Alpha Sapphire, though the new Mauville City is confusing. xD I keep getting lost in it. I do like the fact that they threw other legendaries in, because we now have SO much more to do than just beat the Elite Four and catch a few special pokemon. I went from start to beating the Pokemon League in less than 24 hours so I am SO grateful I still have a lot to choose from. ^.^

    Anyways welcome to PC. Gotta love them dark types lol the only thing that upset me was fairy being supereffective against it does it make sense? Yes does it even the typing chart out? Yes do i still not like it? Yes lol.

    I also got xy (actually got 2 copies of each idk why) and alpha which im at victory road currently. :). So theres like a ton of friendly people here so ur sure to make plenty of friends here haha i only have ummm 4 people who im friends with that still like pokemon but im the most knowledgeable and obssesed all knowing haha.

    Welcome to the PokeCommunity Forum! Valkyrie i see you like the dark type.! i like some dark Pokémon. my favorite Dark Pokemon is Mightyena. do you have a favorite Dark Pokemon ?     That's alright, I still welcome any new friends, regardless of their 3DS ownership status. :)



    You all are super nice, it's awesome. :D I can't wait to delve into the forums and especially be able to gain new friends (and flags from secret bases). I am collecting those through StreetPass like a fiend.

    As for the dark type pokemon being vulnerable to even MORE by them introducing fairy type, yes, that sort of irritated me a little bit, but it seems fairy type is super effective against a lot of Pokemon, so they at least didn't just pick on dark. xD


    && Kamikaze, my favorite dark type pokemon is and always will be Murkrow. :)

    Hope you're enjoying Pokemon ORAS! I'm having a blast playing Pokemon Omega Ruby, after I've beaten Alpha Sapphire, haha. But yes, Pokemon X&Y are equally as great too. Maybe I can try linking up my Secret Base so that I can connect with everyone too? Hm! Well, you can check out the board there if you want too; I'm sure there are various people who'd love to share your FC with them!

    I really hope you're enjoying your stay so far~! I'd recommend taking a look at the helpful links thread when you get a chance as well, just to give you a bit of a pointer if you need it.     I am like extremely late to this (so much it's now two pages) but I hope you can squeeze my response in, and welcome to PC, Valerie!

    I still haven't played OR/AS yet, but I hope all is going well with the games for you! I remember Hoenn being the first region I played Pokemon games of so it's going to hold lots of memories that will come back to those who play the remakes.

    Given everyone else has pretty much got you covered, I don't have much to leave but I wish you good luck with being active around the community!

    I do! ^.^ All consoles pretty much except the modern Sony ones. Not that I have anything against them, I just cannot upgrade ALL of my consoles, lol!

    My main game right now honestly is WoW. Though my nickname actually came from when I played Halo.


    And Hikamaru, better late than never! :D It's still sweet of you to welcome me.
