Starters are after Red is defeated; Kanto starters are from Oak, and Hoenn is from guy in Silph Co.

Not sure about K/G.
 
Can someone walk me through/give me a walkthrough through the Arceus event?

I'm confused about the Lucky Egg and the EXP Share. Can someone tell me what each does and which item is better for more EXP? Thanks.

lucky egg double the exp you get from battling other pokemon

and exp. share can share exp. without battling.....ex: togepi had an exp.share attached, and when the lead pokemon kill other pokemon, the exp divided by two (half for the lead pokemon and half for togepi)
 
@heartgold help: There are many ways to increase happiness. Catching a Pokemon in a Luxury Ball will increase each happiness raising event by one more point. Likewise with a Soothe Bell.

Walking 256 steps with Pokemon in party - +1 base point
Using Vitamins - +2 base points
Using EV berries - +2 base points
Gaining a level - +2 base points
Giving haircut - +3 base points

Kyogre can be found in HeartGold, and Groudon can be found in SoulSilver. You get the Blue/Red Orb from Mr. Pokemon (Blue for Kyogre, Red for Groudon). Go to Route 47 with a Pokemon that knows Rock Climb, and head up to the Enchanted Tower. There you'll battle one of the Pokemon. If you trade the other over to your game, talk to Oak and you'll get the Jade Orb to battle Rayquaza in the same area.

As for the starters:

Kanto ones - defeat all sixteen gyms and Red, talk to Oak, he'll give you a choice of one

Hoenn ones - defeat Red, talk to Steven Stone in Saffron City (Silph Co. building), he'll give you a choice of one

@ILoveDragonite: you have a 1 in over 8000 chance of getting a shiny Snorlax. You're unfortunately going to be there for quite a while. I know people who spent two entire weeks soft resetting for a shiny. Just keep at it, and you'll hopefully eventually see one.

@Pearls_Barf: Ditto can be found on Routes 35 and 47, in the Cerulean Cave, and in the Safari Zone. They're uncommon in those places.

Do you want it to be a physical sweeper (train attack stat for physical moves) or special sweeper (train sp.atk stat for special moves)?
 
Is it possible to capture Ho-oh with a regular Pokeball?

I got his HP to 1-ish and he's paralyzed. But I still can't catch him. D: <- That's with Pokeballs.

Edit: He's at Lv. 70 btw.

I have a Ditto and a Male Eevee. Is it possible to breed Eevee or does it need to be a female?

It should be possible to catch any Pokemon at any level with any Pokeball.

That said, should.

@above, it's possible to breed anything but Legendaries with a Ditto.

You can breed genderless Pokemon with Ditto.

Oh, I see. I thought it was some kind of custom Pikachu with a different sprite and exclusive moves. :o
 
Darn it, Ho-oh died using Struggle... Again.

I just can't seem to Capture him, using Pokeballs or Ultra Balls. ._.

Kidding. Yeah, nothing too special about the French Pikachu.
