Long-time Pokemon player. Was lucky enough to be of the age Red&Blue were aimed at when they were first released 20 some years ago, so Pokemon has always been a big part of my life. Love the series.

I missed Pokemon Red and blue's release date by about a couple of years so I'm envious of the people who first experienced it! My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Stadium 64 when I was around 3 and my first main Pokemon game was actually Pokemon Gold, which is still my favorite today! It's crazy to think that the series is turning 20 years old soon it makes me feel old haha!

Anyways, welcome to the site we've actually been discussing memories of the game in the Pokemon General section if you'd like to join in. I enjoy reading the responses because I'm curious about what others were doing when the games came out. One of m favorite memories was actually seeing the first movies in theaters and getting that rare Mew card that came with it. Anyways, enough of my rambling welcome to PC if you'd ever like to chat about Pokemon, video games, sports or anything else feel free to hit me up with a visitor message. :)

Same here. BD Been into the franchise for a long time now and it's great to see how much it's evolved. Thank goodness the link cable days are over (as nostalgic as that was). Welcome to the forum, senzu, good having you!

I mostly joined for the Pokemon rom hacks ... which I'm finding harder than necessary to install and play on a Mac. Am I totally crazy for buying a cheap-ish Windows laptop just to play Pokemon hacks? Haha.
