I just noticed that the broccoli part of Yanappu looks kinda like a Chef's Hat, which would make sense because he also has oven mitts.

He might become some sort of veggie chef pokemon. If so I hope Aloe gets him.

Comparing it to Aipom, they look a lot alike. That's a good thing in my opinion. Also, this thing screams Dento, he is associated with green and grass-types too much for me to ignore.

I don't mind something strong, just something good looking, not horrible like Ambipom. I don't base my team entirely on looks, but a few pokemon don't usually get to be used cus they look bad. I'm so mean...

IF ALOE GOT HIM THAT WOULD BE HORRIBLE! She would like... cook him. But great connection XD so is it like a cannibal? I'll bet he's a vegeatrian. And makes salads... WITH broccoli and spinach.
 
I hope it's Shiny forme resembles cauliflower... White and Yellow maybe?
 
Yuckiest veggies ever DX I like the idea of the shiny form however. I also think that it's evo will be strong not cute, and as much as i love cuteness, I hope its eve isn't. I hope it is like a cross between slaking and snorlax only still related to a vegetable.
 
All these posts about vegetables being gross, do you think this is gamefreak's way of influencing kids positively through video games? "Eat your vegetables, or a monkey wearing oven mitts and broccoli will slap you!" because everyone says video games poison youth brains... so why not poison them with healthy choices? I know ima eat my broccoli, cus I dont wanna be slapped by a monkey.

Its probably an obscure reference to something we don't understand. Kinda like Parasect, Trapinch, Wooper etc.,

A lot of times Game Freak likes to make pokemon that are based on something weird or unusual. Yanappu could be one of these pokemon.

I was comparing it to pokemon like Parasect. Parasect is based on a mushroom that takes over a dead cicada. Wooper is based on a salamander that didn't evolve into brought into foreign waters. Trapinch is based on a trapping insect that can turn into a dragonfly.

I think this might be a more straight-forward broccoli monkey. Not some complicated unusual thing. Either, way, it's cool. As long as it doesn't have lettuce.
 
I doubt this pokémon would involve any kind of vegetable or fruit. I mean, we just think it's head piece and tail (I guess) look like broccoli. That doesn't necessarily mean it's going to have anything related to that besides its design. So I highly doubt lettuce or any other green food will be included in one of Yanappu's evolution if it were to have one.

Ofcourse its a brocolli monkey. Look at it. I mean give me another example of what it could be... I mean.. Its a grass monkey. Whats more to say?

Please no! T_T... If it is, I'll have to learn to like it xDD... Well, it looks nice, but somehow it feels like there are way too much Grass Pokémon introduced recently :O
