5th Gen Hiyappu, Baoppu & Yanappu Discussion (new water/fire type monkey)

I said yesterday that it would belong to Dento... right again :)

Only four are grass types, out of 41 Pokemon total. One of those four is part bug. Another one has no type revealed for it, but it's Tsutaja's evolution. So, it's obviously grass.

Four is too much?

I think Yanappa fits Dento.

There have been more fire and psychic types revealed compared to grass.

It seems like they are just showing us pokemon related to the anime at this point.

Well, that's true :D! I am a Grass Pokémon fanatic afterall... But this is so hurtful... Because I'm going to use Tsutaaja as my starter :D *Faceplant*

Wonder about the stat distribution and it's moves... Somehow I just cant see it using something like Razor Leaf... That leafs (:P) use with Leaf Blade and such... Moveset trouble anyone?

There was a video shown of Mijumaru and Yanappu having a cliche samurai moment. Yanappu could have used Leaf Blade.
 
Whats his pokedex info???
Does he really have something to do with broccoli.

They said he's just a Grass-type on Pokemon Sunday, and that little bulletin held up to the screen said it too.
Who knows about potential evolutions. XD

I think Yanappu will turn into a Grass/Fighting.
 
Yanappu will hopefully turn into an epic gorilla that would be hella awesome.
 
wow... a "monkey" pokemon that i actually like =D (or maybe it's my love for grass types over taking me again) XD

i'll catch one even with Tsutaaja as my starter ;D
hopefully it'll have high attack and able to learn Cut so i'll have that covered xDD

i usually tend to find it hard for me to find a good Pkmn to learn Cut so i skip all the
Cuttable trees first-playthrough xDD
 
Hopefully it can use it's tail to use moves like Vine Whip, Power Whip, and maybe swing from trees like a jungle monkey.

Oh this makes me hope it won't be as rare as Aipom from the Honey Trees. Yanappu I'm hoping will be one of those pokémon that pop-up every once in a while but not a whole swarm like the way they did with Skitty in R/S/E. With Skitty you would have to keep searching but eventually would find it because it was uncommon. I'd like for the little grass monkey to be uncommon so people won't complain how they are so annoying in the wild. XD;

I'd say Yanappu is found in the forest near the start of the game (assuming that is one, and that the trees behind Dento's gym can be reached, too). If not, White Forest? :D
