Hmm, now what if...?

Then Electrode automatically sucks.

What if none of the Pokémon of each generation were related to Pokémon of another generation?
 
Then Gen IV's Pokedex would be considerably shorter.

What if every new Pokemon in Sun/Moon was mechanical?
 
Then soon the world shall be overrun by robots!

What if trading was never needed to evolve Pokémon?
 
Then we who can't connect our 3DS online would be eternally grateful!

What if Prof. Oak never existed?
 
Then we'd be one man short of mentally challenged professors and we can ride our bikes inside. Also there would be no PokéDex and Blue wouldn't exist.

What if the Pokémon Tower ghosts could be caught?
 
There would be a whole new species of ghosts and possibly glitches.

What if trainers ran out of oxygen while diving underwater?
 
Nicknaming Pokemon would be either very easy or very stupid.

What if the Underground made a return in the next Pokemon games?
 
The Pokemon benefited would have greater advantage.

What if the series of events in the main games were reversed, so you begin as the Champion and work your way back to your hometown?
 
It would be a good cleanup for some dual typed Pokemon that could do with another type but not have to be triple-typed.

What if you – the protagonist – are reunited with your father?
 
We might have more evolutions and form changes for Pokemon that ought to have.

What if the Distortion World merged with our PokeWorld?
 
The moon will be thrown into chaos and darkness will consume the world.

What if Kyogre and Groudon got along instead of fighting?
 
Then we wouldn't have to complain about the anime as much as we do now.

What if the Battle Frontier never existed?
