As a class act, I can't very well vote for my own submission, so although calling myself a class act may negate that self proclaimed fact (damn!) I vote for HotMess' plot. The reason I've been following this hack so closely is because it's so unique, and quite frankly I feel that adding in the standard "go to the cave then find x then return to y" plot would be an insult to the quality and originality that made me fall in love with Torzach.

His plot would be a unique mission in a pokemon game, with no plot consequences what-so-ever

Hey, I see my plot got one vote! (Woo!) X] Well, I'm back, and spriteless. I've been so busy lately, I have had barely anytime to get on the computer. Plus, I have important things I need to do on the comnputer other than Torzach that I'm working on/finishing. And all the things that pop up outta nowhere that you have to do get annoying. I'll try and get something done, but with all this stuff, I just dunno... :cer_confused:

Now, gonna go look at this PM I got...
 
Looks pretty cool... But you should REALLY make some new main caracters. Also you should maybe edit a little bit on that grass ponyta so it doesn't look like ponyta to much... Or maybe that's meant to be? Well i really hope to see some new caracters. Good luck with the hack :P!

If you're talking about the OWs, a lot of their detail got deleted in inserting. We're working on that. Otherwise, they're supposed to look more adult-ish rather than 10-year-olds. I think the main characters battle/character selection sprites, while they could use some more individuality and color, they are very well done for the most part.
 
I've noticed that this hack is somewhat out of the ordinary, with the events implemented and such, so i have an idea that i think, if its script-able, would be something that would only add to the creativity and originality of the hack.
What if one of the gym leaders has to "step out" for a bit to take care of something (take this anyway you want) and asks you to take over the gym for a bit. During this time, a couple of trainers come in for you to battle them.
It would be an interesting concept, and if done well could also be beneficial for the trainer, as their pokemon would gain extra experience points

^I was planning on implementing that idea in my own hack.....yes it would be possible.
 
Sorry about the delay in closing the voting guys, I'm sort of struggling through swine flu at the moment :\ Its certainly not fun :P
Anyway, voting is now closed. The winner of the contest is Agrajag, with a total of six votes. Westrmistr had one, Hot Mess had one, and Snap12 had one. I don't really have any updates, swine flu has made hacking just about impossible for now, but I'll get back into it asap guys~

That's just too bad. Although Swine Flu is bad for your country it is awesome in my city. Why? That's because exams are cancelled!!

Megamaccer - I know the "swine flu" has been getting an incredible amount of attention, I can assure you that it's no worse than a normal flu. I have several friends in med school and my Dad is a doctor; the general consensus among all of their teachers/co-workers is that the H1N1 strand is just a glorified flu - if it mutated we'd be in trouble, but I'm confident you don't have a new strain (otherwise I'd have heard about it on the news by now!). You'll be fine - my wishes go out to you and your family, just hang in there and try to be optimistic!

Oh, and take your time on the hack - anyone applying any pressure for a deadline shouldn't be a concern of yours. Get better soon man!

I agree with Agrajag, swine flu isn't as bad as people have made it seem. You'll be fine. Try not to worry much, and don't worry about the hack either. Rest is always good when having any flu...or any other disease/virus.

Maybe i should start one for the mapping...
Anyway, sorry to hear that you got swine flu Mac,
Although it does give some of us a bit of break.
 
Wonder if I should try for the spriting? I've only ever done a single sprite, of an existing pokemon. If I do enter, I just post it here, right?
As for the other contest, a deserving winner, very good story.
And get well soon Mac. Hope the flu isn't too bad.
