Pokeball on my fifth turn. Only 1 ice punch from my hitmonchan sent tht thing down to 2%health MAJORRR luck, i expected a 30 turn kinda event

I wanted to catch a shiny Giratina in a Quick Ball (blue and gold :P).
Ensue a series of unfortunate crits and Effect Spore activations.
Five shiny Giratina later, I finally got it :\

Nen caught it with a Master Ball. x.x
I put Giratina asleep, then struggled for about an hour whittling down the danged thing's HP
. After throwing at least a million Ultra Balls, I eventually just decided to get it over with.
Catching Pokémon
was never one of my strong points. xDD;

Easy:
• Weakened it
• Status infliction(sometimes)
• Timer Ball

I was hoping to use a Dusk Ball though, but oh well. :(

Pokemon Diamond - Master Ball from Leaf Green
Pokemon Platinum - Master Ball from Platinum

It really never fails. I heard there was a glitch if you overuse Master Balls, there are slim chances that it may fail. But that is off topic I guess d:
Got a link that can show that, AFAIK the formula never changes, and a Master Ball has a catch rate of 255x so it will never fail...

Same as Wind~ weakeaned it as much as possible and used Blissey to put it to sleep, caught it after about 5 timer ball's, Couldn't get it with Dusk ball :(

Well for Pokemon Platinum I used my Masterball because I just wanted to leave the Distortion world and go on to the BF

:t354:TG

as soon as the match began i just kept thowing normal pokeballs and it only took 216:)

when i got in the distortion world i used my cherish balls and i caught it on the tenth try

me, i put him to sleep, confused him, used false swipe to put its life down, and used a great ball

on my pearl i went in there with a level 68 kangashkhan and a shiny haunter i caught in the cave tryinjg to reach him that try and got him down to almost death with outrage, slept him with shiny haunter (now shiny genger) and chucked dusk balls, ultra balls, eventually caught mine with a heal ball. lol took ages though

I weakened it, put it to sleep, used Dusk/Timer balls.

I used my staraptor used like 2 brave birds(a move) it was down to like 1/4 hp then i used a combo of a ultra ball and a dusk ball,so its like this ultraball, duskball, ultraball, duskball and so on.I used about 30 ultraballs and 29 dusk balls it was hard to catch.

Got it's health down to about 20, threw a Masterball at it, and caught it just fine. It was surprisingly easy, actually.
