The centerpiece of my room is a Panasonic RE-7300 radio. Thanks to its RCA phono inputs, I can run my iPod through it. I feel that it's Art Deco design gives my room a classy feel, especially when I'm playing some of my favorite music through it, like Alexander Borodin's Polovtsian Dances. I wonder if the Pokémon toys on top of it ruin the effect...

Here's a picture of one (not mine).
[PokeCommunity.com] How do you decorate your room/home?

My room's not great tbh. I want to completely strip it down and re-decorate it all, keeping only the furniture. I've been saying i'd redecorate it for months, but never have (Lazy Limey is lazy) ._.

There's also a load of things that need sorting out like my curtain rail, skirtings and door (Which doesn't close properly). Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

stacks and stacks of books on the floor, lil artworks and glow in the dark stars and a sticky note reminding myself to inhale and exhale plastered on the walls, countless toys/antiques/novelty items/weird lil sculptures scattered across my shelves/windowsill, :s oh and a life-sized cardboard cut-out of James Dean

My room isn't that great, either. It has wallpaper that's been around since I was around 3 years old (its theme is that of the "Hey Fiddle Fiddle" nursery rhyme). It's also a bit messy, particularly in the areas where I keep my LEGO collection, which collects dust from time to time. It also has a desk, but I rarely use it. But what's great about it is that it has its own bathroom as well as a balcony.

I got lazy with decorating my dorm room this time since I'll only be here for the fall. Basically I've set up a few anime figurines on the desk and that's it. Although it's less messy as it usually is since we just had dorm room inspections the other day and I HAD to clean up... expect the stuff to begin randomly piling up on the floor in a few days, though :P

Video game posters, a Kurt Cobain poster, a paper dragon, temari, strange paintings, maps, Pokemon plushies, light bulbs, tissue paper, an ocarina, Mardi Gras necklaces, and other weird things that might tickle your fancy. I live in a pink room with teal stripes. Hey, I didn't design that part.

My room is small, painted white with light blue texturing. There is little floor space because of a giant shelf/cabinet/curio thing and a loft bed w/ desk underneath. There are 3 completely full bookshelves and a dresser (which has one drawer full of books) and the giant cabinet thing has 3 shelves of DVDs, two drawers of manga, and a cupboard of video games. There is not much on the walls.

    TL;DR: I decorate with books.

My room is painted in mainly blue, which a square of Red on one of the walls (I'm not kidding). My furniture is a light green: the shelves on my desk are manga/anime filled, while the other shelves I have are with books and other little tidbits. I have anime images all over my room (mainly of Beyblade and Pita-Ten), a Danny Phantom poster I drew on my door, and a few other things on the wall. Then there is my sexy Red and Black bed with its sexy red blankets. <3

    tl;dr: my room isn't really "decorated", just whatever ended up being in my room. XD;

    WITH POSTERS, THOUSANDS OF THEM!
lol no not really, but that's pretty much how it's fated to become. The amount of blank space on my walls is dwindling, and I promised myself that the next time I come into some money I'm not spending half of it on posters/wallscrolls. A quick rundown of what's on display: Shakugan no Shana, Kingdom Hearts, FFX, FMA, Tales of... (Symphonia: DotNW, Destiny 2, Eternia, and one Tales of Festival group poster), Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Air Gear, Vocaloid/Black Rock Shooter, Chobits, Ouran High School Host Club, Pokemon, Okami, aaand MapleStory.

I also draw on my walls with chalk, it's fun stress relief. :3 Mostly all original stuff, but there's the Soul Eater logo behind my bookshelf, the Ouroboros symbol from FMA above my bed, and the Player Pin symbol from TWEWY on the wall where you first walk in. My friends also left their mark on my room with a Pikachu face, someone's name in graffiti, and the most clever - a Pig Noise symbol from TWEWY hidden behind one of the many posters/wallscrolls. xD

I also have one of those hanging plushie hammocks above my bed, which houses a plethora of Pokemon crap (Pikachu, Turtwig, Darkrai, Ho-oh, Sky Forme Shaymin, Lapras, Luvdisc and Jolteon) as well as K.K. Slider from Animal Crossing, the blue Mini Mushroom from the Mario games, the Atashi bunny from Chobits, and, of course, Domo-kun. :3

The furniture is all pre-owned, which I'm perfectly fine with. I have two bookshelves, one to hold my DVDs and games (of which there are very few; most of the shelf space is taken up by mini plushies/figurines) and one that holds my books/manga (the books are all mine, but the manga are mostly hand-me-downs). The top shelf is decorated with a short string of rainbow Christmas lights and has all of my sentimental crap, i.e. the cowbell I got for my 17th birthday and an unopened bottle of Ramune a friend gave me before she went off to college. I've got a drafting table that I ravaged with song lyrics in silver Sharpie, and the desk I sit at right now has had a little of that fake wood crap stripped away so I could paint on it.

And... that's about it, my TV and bed aren't very special.
    I love my room, it's totally wall-of-text worthy. :3

I'm a bit of a neat freak to be honest, and don't necessarily like clutter through out my room, there are times when it gets to the point where I can't however I try and not be to lazy and would rather keep my room in good shape, I seem to like anything green that makes my room stand out more than the pale old white color painted on my walls, you can say it goes from light to dark through out the day, the desk I'm using right now is light green and I sure love it, it's comfortable most of the time, however these little noises coming from the bottom can be quite annoying and I'd rather just sit on my bedroom floor. Other than that it tends to be quiet and lonely while I sit it here but I love how it currently is outstanding compared to my mother's and sister's rooms. I went a bit off-topic but still my room is in pristine shape based on my opinion.

I decorate my room with posters I get from reserved games or posters from stores people don't with to walk into. I also have games all over the place and lil figurines too.

I just have pictures and a few other things, but not much.

My room is kind of dark (and very green). As surprising as this may be, it's covered with posters of various punk bands. These are primarily Green Day, as they are my favorite. Beyond that, there's barely any decoration at all. The theme of the furniture is light colored wood that is undecorated.

Oh, and I graffittied my desk in permanent marker. Yeah~

    My rooms decorated...? o_o

Well nothing much, just a matress with a bed spring thingy (idk) 2 falling apart a lil night stands with a matching dresser =o
ummm. A tv , a computer that dosent really work. if so its really slow. (15 years old :P)

A picture frame of me and my dad ish pictures against the wall by my tv. broken blinds on the window with the screen cut up. a broken door, a broken closet filled with more paper and mess.. and a pink carpet. And a bunch of papers.

So thats my room! :3 But I dont think I call that decrorating. thats pretty much how the room came with (w/o the junk, tv, matress i think, you get it.)

Basically my room is brilliant. I spend alot of time in there.
    My walls are white.
I have a hideaway plasma tv + wii + dvd player + iPod dock situated in a cupboard in front of my circular bed.
I have band posters covering the walls. Anything from A Day To Remember to VersaEmerge.
I have a gigantic wall length 3 tier bookcase that houses all my vinyl records, dvds and books.
I also have my guitar near my bed, hooked up to my amp, I dont care for what neighbours think of the noise.
Oh and I also have my skateboard and various spare decks and trucks floating around.
I have tools and car parts in here also.

My room isn't that great either, it's blue with some anime posters and movie posters. Got my own TV with my Wii, and my laptop sits on my desk.

I need to redecorate soon actually.

Mine's... Okay I guess. Let's see... I have a drawer where my clothes go, a closet where I put my jackets, Tae Kwon Do uniform, etc... And then I have a bunk-bed and in front of there is my computer. I also have shelves sitting upon a wooden piece of wood drilled on my wall. that doesn't make sense does it...? Anyways it would be easier if I took a picture. XD

Right now it's kind of random. For instance, one of my walls has a band of glow-in-the-dark stars and a calendar on it, and then the other big one just has my awesome NaNoWriMo poster. I have a nice big bed, a cluttered desk, a big storage bin that doubles as a side-table, a TV on the floor, and clothes everywhere. It's really cluttered.

    The living room makes a bit more sense. We have a big-screen TV and a TV stand and a couch and a table and chairs. However, everything's just as cluttered out there. My roommate and I are both messy people. XD;

I have a bunch of movie posters, and singers and a Gandhi poster. I have an iPod deck, two lamps and a room light. Other then that its quite small.
