How do you reply to threads?

Quick reply is kind of a small area to type in and that kinda annoys me if I want to write more than a sentence or two. I know I can expand it, but if I'm going through all that effort of clicking something I may as well load a new page with a larger text area. Which is what I do. I did it just now even.

If I'm going to subscribe to the thread, I reply using quick reply and the thread will appear in my subscriptions. Otherwise, advanced it is.

I almost always use quick reply except when using multi-quoting or when creating a thread or massive post.

I usually click on the post reply button these days. I used to use quick reply on all forums years ago, but using the reply button just seems more efficient now, incase I want to bold text or post a youtube link or whatever else.

Wait, there are people who don't always use Quick Reply? I don't remember the last time I did a full reply other than to a big PM when I wanted more space. I do tend to use Go Advanced > Preview Post, though, if it's one I've put any real effort into.

I usually go for Quick Reply, though on occasion I will click the "Go Advanced" button to preview my post since I catch typos easier that way.

Quick Reply all the way. Although, if I'm working on some CSS, or if I want to add some cool thingies, I Go Advance.

I use Quick Reply almost exclusively. Usually I don't have any need for all of the advanced options, with my fan fiction chapters being the only notable exception since I do change fonts and stuff for my chapters. But other than that Quick Reply works perfectly fine for me.

I just use Quick Reply. Why wait to load another page? Quick Reply lets you just type and submit your post.
