How do you use your Master Ball?

I'm curious to see what this community uses their Master Balls for. There is only one in each game with the exception of getting one for winning the lottery at the Radio Tower in G/S/C/HG/SS. Are there specific Pokemon you use it for? Do you use it on a roaming Pokemon? It's definitely something to think about, since you only have one of them. Note that most legendaries have the exact same capture rate with a few exceptions (most have a catch rate of 3). You have the same odds of catching Articuno as you do of catching Arceus, provided same status ailment, same remaining percent of HP, and same type of ball used. Here's how I use mine:

Pokemon RBY: I use it on Mewtwo.
Pokemon GSC: I use it on one of the roaming Pokemon, Raikou, Entei, or Suciune, as they are otherwise the most difficult Pokemon to capture.
Pokemon RSE: I use it on the roaming Lati@s for the same reason.
Pokemon FRLG: I use it on the one roaming Legendary Dog that varies based on your starter, again for the same reason.
Pokemon DPPt: I use it on Mesprit, as it is the first roaming Pokemon you find in the game.
Pokemon HGSS: I use it on the roaming Lati@s, because personally I like the Eon Duo better than I do the Legendary Dogs.
Pokemon BW: I use it on the roaming Tornadus/Thundurus, again, because it's a roaming Pokemon, and the most difficult to catch.

Always the roaming Pokémon. I really can't be bothered to chase them around the region all the time, especially if I plan on getting good natures or IVs for them. Way too much hassle.

Just like the commenter above. I used it on roaming Pokemon (Latias/Latios, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, etc.) because they're the hardest to catch, seeing as the can flee and such.

Sometimes I get lazy and use it on the cover legend XD

I use it on my favorite Legendary Pokemon such as Articuno, Lugia or Groudon. If I encounter one of them, I go right ahead and catch it with the master ball instead of battling it.

Well, in SS I used it accidentally on an Ursaring...And then I saved without knowing. Biggest failure of my life.Ever.

R/B/Y: Zapdos. So annoying to catch otherwise. Usually takes me about 60 ultra balls otherwise. Or Articuno, hes also annoying :x.

G/S/C/HG/SS: Sometimes Lugia or Ho-Oh, though ill also use it on Mewtwo, and the three roaming dogs..With the exception of SS, which I caught an Ursaring..

R/S/E: Groudon/Kyogre/Rayquza or Latios/Latias. No really suitable Pokemon to use them on other than that..

    D/P/Pt: Dialga/Palkia/Giratina..

B/W: I believe I used it on Thunderus. Stupid roamers.

Always the roamers. I'm not patient enough to chip their health down, chase them, and chuck one ultra ball every time I see them. >_>

I got lucky with the Tornadus in my Black, and I threw the Quick Ball once I saw him and I got him. I didn't really have a hard time catching any of the other legends in Black; I used a Dusk Ball on some, a Net Ball on Volcarona, and everyone else I caught with an Ultra Ball. So I have two Master Balls in my inventory.

I would have used it on the roaming Pokemon in Diamond but I was never lucky enough to even see one.

In Sapphire, I just used it on Rayquaza. And I think Ho-oh in Gold.

I think I used it on Articuno in my Red, just because I knew that if I used Ice Beam on Mewtwo I could freeze him, and they didn't thaw out in that generation.

pffft master ball? please. The master ball is an obsolete tool the moment quick balls and dusk balls were made. Although I do save it for the rare chance of finding a shiny

It depends on the game. Sometimes I save it for the roaming pokemon, others times I save it for the really tough ones, and sometimes I use it at the spur of the moment.

I was planning to use it on Tornadous in Black, but I caught it very easily. I ended up using on Volcanora because it is favorite legendary in B/W<3

How do I use my Master Ball? I don't. :D I have this thing where if I have only one of anything in my inventory and there's no way I can get another (or it's just really difficult to get another), I won't use it at all. I'll chuck as many Ultra Balls as needed on any Legendary (although if I ever encountered an Arceus lololol fat chance, I'd use the Master Ball) but I will never use that one and only Master Ball I get.

There is no legitimate way of getting Arceus without using an Action Replay code. As far as I'm concerned, it's legal since they never had an Azure Flute event, ever, anywhere. Therefore, I used that code in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum, and caught him with a Timer Ball.

I simply use my Master Ball on the roaming Pokemon, if there are any. Sometimes I transfer multiple Master Balls over from another version to get more legends the easy way.

I keep it. I will to say to my friends, "HAHAHA, you noob use master ball and catch (this particular pokemon)! I never use." Yes I know its lame, but at least its still some bragging rights.

I also keep it. Not to taunt other people (as fun as it might be =p) but just for the 'challenge' of going for every Pokemon without resorting to the somewhat cheap option, is all. Besides, it'd be useful to have one if I encounter a shiny Pokemon that could be prone to running or using Selfdestruct.

Roaming Legendaries for sure. But if the game have more than one roaming legendary, I might try my bet on quick ball instead.
