how do you write a particular generation?

like, if you were to say Gen 4, do you write it as a number or as Gen IV?

Usually Roman numerals unless I'm feeling particularly lazy. It looks nicer...so I should probably not use Roman numerals for anything after Gen IV, but hey ho.

I used to write numbers, but a project I was working on last year helped me memorize the Roman numerals so I tend to use those now.

Roman numerals definitely looks nicer, but I find myself writing both at different times and not even noticing haha.

i usually use roman numerals but i'm also really stupid and we're getting to a point where i don't know them off the top of my head anymore so i'm just switching back to like. you know. 2348032948
