Here is a good question. In you whole life; how many hours have you spent playing Pokémon, this is a rough estimate. This is every game.

Over my life I think I have played about 350 hours on Pokémon.

okay, let's count all the time...
Being noob at pokémon yellow: ~10 hours
Getting the hang of it with Crystal: ~30 hours
grabbed a GBA, stopped emulating GB: ~120 hours first E gameplay, ~50 hours of FR gameplays
Back to emulators for playing hacks: ~200 hours (90 spent grinding+playing Emerald 386)

that's a rough 400+ hours of gameplay, in the last 10 years

I've counted it up, and ive approx. played 550 hrs. XD

For me only like 20 hours but for MW2 and Mag mine would be about 600. XD

When it comes to total hours of me Pokemon video games and watching the show, I'd estimate around 4000 hours of doing that. Other than that, I'm not exactly sure.

Well I'll give a rough estimate of gameplay time (over multiple playthroughs of each game). I'm going to feel like a loser after calculating this :(

    Red: 90 hours
    Blue: 80 hours
    Yellow: 35 hours
    Gold: 10 hours
    Silver: 75 hours
    Crystal: 45 hours
    Sapphire: 25 hours
    Pearl: 55 hours
    Diamond: 45 hours
    Platinum: 70 hours
    Soul Silver: 60 hours

So all up about 590 hours over the course of about twelve years, so just over two days per year. That's kind of sad XD

    Emerald: about 20 hours
    LeafGreen: 15 hours
    Sapphire: 5 hours
Diamond: 100 hours (reset tonnes of times)
Platinum: 70 hours (reset a couple of times)
    HeartGold: 90 hours
    SoulSilver: 10 hours

In total I would say about 310 hours, but it might be a bit less than that.

A rough estimate around 1000+ hours for me. I'm actually pretty sure it's 1000+.

/can't be bothered to sum up all the hours played on the different Gens.

Well, I spent over 2 years, between obtaining Emerald, and obtaining Diamond, playing the former for at least an hour per day on average...so....1000+, when you count in all my Gen IV playing, LeafGreen, Battle Revolution, online shoddybattle and Pokemon Ranger. Yes, I have no life.

200 or so, maybe less. I haven't really put that much time into Pokemon. I played through Ruby twice, Platinum once, and I'm on Soul Silver right now.

I really can't remember for most what the hours I have played, but alone on Pokemon Diamond I was at 250+ from what I remember. So going for an average I'd say 1000-1500 hours of playing Pokemon games. I've spent a lot of my life play my Pokemon games. Putting the emulators on top would add another 200+ hours on top of them both, if that is classed in this.
