4th Gen How many of you use Walkthroughs?

When playing this game or when you played it, have you ever used a walkthrough, or did you just fgind stuff as you go?

Sometimes I referenced GameFAQs or Serebii for certain Pokemon locations, but other than that I enjoy exploring on my own.

I use Bulbapedia if I need help finding a Pokemon and I think when I was playing Pearl I looked up a few times when I was stuck. Playing Emerald I sometimes check a walkthrough to see if I missed anything.

I bought the HG guidebook since I get it cheaper and had money from trading leftover, so I'll use that just to make sure I don't miss anything. It's a Pokemon game; it's not like I'd be figuring out much on my own. Easy.

Mostly I just use bulbapedia whenever im get to a new route and want to see what pokemon are there. Other than that Ill sometimes use guides to help me get throught the caves and stuff like Mt Mortar

I Use The Pokemon HeartGold / SoulSilver Guide for Caves Mostly, [ Mostly only Victory Road. ] and I also use it to check what levels pokemon learn moves, to see what would be the most effective team i can make.
Also to check where pokemon can be found.

Besides that, All on my own. Even if i get stuck i'll keep my book away.

I like to buy the walkthrough book after I beat the main portion of the game (after I beat the Elite Four) and use it reference for breeding, movesets, etc.

For heart gold i havnt been. But only because i played the originals so much i know everything. :P I used one a little on pearl when i was stuck and same for emerald but other then that i generally dont.

Maybe . If I get stuck , GameFAQS is the little light at the end of the tunnel ! :D
But I kinda doubt it ... I only used a Pokemon FAQ through my 1st playthrough on Pokemon Platinum as I wanted it finished fast ! :/

Everytime I get stuck on what to do (like after beating a gym) I reference to a GameFAQ walkthrough.

I don't really use guides, unless I have completed the game.

I only use guides for Breeding and Move sets not the game itself just like in life it is no fun if you have a road map :P!

I don't use it for everything, but I have used it for some things. I did use a little bit yesterday with the lighthouse.

I used my brother as a walkthrough.

Me: "Kevin where do I get the Squirtbottle?"
Him: "Pink house in Goldenrod, with flowershop sign, north of gym."
Me: "Kay."

Only used one to find a Shiny Stone. Found it, but I can't get it. Other then that, no.

I do because I have the Japanese version.

I don't use them unless I want to know something and have completed the game. Other than that, I don't use them at all. Also, I can always ask a friend who has the Japanese version of the game.

I think I used it once, cause I could not remember for the life of me how to wake up the Snorlax by Veridian.
