6th Gen How much do you add to your favourite pokemon team?

    By this I mean all the various extras in the game such as contest stats, ribbons, pokemon Amie affection?

    I made enough rainbow pokeblocks to max out all my favourite team and ill do the same for my new fighting team when my berries grow in, I collect all the ribbons I can on them too. Max affection, footprint, max EV's champion ribbons and im working on the battle maison ones at the moment alongside trying to get the contest master rank ribbons and effect on my Charizard. I've bought a few of the expensive ribbons from Mauville for a couple too and will buy more as I earn more millions.

    Is there anything else you can think of to add value to your favourite pokemon team?
     
    I only really have one Pokemon I collect stuff for. And that's my Sableye, Mr. Gates (yes, as in Bill Gates). He has perfect IVs and is almost level 100.

    He has all the ribbons available in ORAS (the Maison ones are finally done!) except the Thursday and Saturday ribbon because I've been super lazy about them. And, later on, I plan on transferring him to my Y cart so I can get him the Kalos Champion ribbon.
     
    I used to do this on my older copies of games. Now I generally forget about all of these features but I still have my older Pokemon with a dozen ribbons :3 I've been winning contests with my Altaria, so maybe I'll try to get all the ribbons on her!
     
    Yeah I really don't do that much either. When I first started with OR I made a shiny Minun with Powersaves and beat the Master Rank Cool contest with it (or at least I think it was the cool contest). Then used my Mega Blaziken to see how Mega Evolution works with contests.Mega Blaziken only got past Super Rank Cool...
     
    I've just finished the Master rank on all contests on my charizard X so he has a lovely not quite shiny glow effect now in battle. Really boring to do but hey its over now.

    Now back to battle Maison super singles.
     
    I finished collecting most of the ribbons from Kalos and Hoenn into my shiny bred delphox called 'Teruna'. All I need to do is beat the battle maison to get the remaining ribbons to complete the set but my current progress is just one win.
     
    I haven't really done anything with contests myself, but one of these days I will get myself a cool Pokémon to dominate at least one category with. But those expensive ribbons aren't much worth collecting since they don't do anything, unlike in Platinum where you needed them to get into the Ribbon's Syndicate.
     
    I've mainly been doing Pokemon Amie and contests with my Pokemon, not just the main team but also the reserves I have in the PC. Given that winning contests now gains affection it easily simplifies the process with Amie. Sadly I'm not into collecting ribbons at the moment, plus I'm not so good with the Battle Maison.
     
    I always forget about that stuff throughout the story! I do stuff like Contests and Amie early-game and post-game though! I always put my starter in Amie- 'twas already 5 hearts when I reached the 2nd Gym in Kalos <3

    I was watching some videos about Contests and stuff and saw that you can compete with Lisia and Wallace at the same time! Sounds hard but I went for it. I got a lot of ribbons from that, I was surprised especially because all I did was just feed my Pokémon tons of random berries that I had been collecting and planting throughout the game ^-^;

    When you win all master rank contests with a single pokemon they get a special animation when entering battle and I think the same sound effect as shinies.
