I got a letter in the mail

Ok, so i'm autistic and I live in a group home currently. I also go to a day-hab that does a lot of theater stuff. Anyway i've realized that at almost 31 years old, I should get a job. So I went to this place that help people get and most importantly for me MAINTAIN a job. Well I got a letter today in the mail saying that I get to go to an evaluation for I don't know job stuff for ten days and then they will help me get a job I guess. Well I PANICKED! I was in total shock. I mean yeah I hate my day hab currently but after the letter....it just took me for a loop. Also, there are stuff in my day hab that i'm actually looking forward too. There's (I can't believe i'm going to say this) the play in early November and even though i'm only in two scenes and even though before the letter I was ashamed of my part (I play a character with bad morals let's just say that), I actually want to do this play after the letter. There's also a slight chance I might go back into the singing ensemble (I really miss that). The singing ensemble are actually going upstate to perform tomorrow, and I just feel really bad i'm missing out (I was a fool for quitting) so that's throwing me off too. The chance of me rejoining the ensemble is slim but I really miss it, and if I get a job even if it's like part time job part time day hab, I can't be in the ensemble at all. *sigh* I'm sorry I needed to vent.

Vent about your life here. I have to go somewhere for a couple of hours. I'll be back on this site in an hour or two so please help or vent about your life here.

i'd say take the job. it'll help you earn money and get a living. perhaps if you have time, you can try to do plays on the side? it's up to you though. don't want to push yourself too hard. creativity is important too, but perhaps you can take a break for a little while to focus on making some revenue for yourself.
