Wow Australia. That's cool never knew someone from there well just remember to wear lots of warm clothes in the winter, not like it gets really cold here in Florida (never snows lol) XD
 
I knew someone who once had cancer too at a young age and I can only imagine what you're going through so I wish you the best of luck. I'd like to tell you though from my experience...

Is that to never give up hope. Realise that hope takes many different shapes and forms but mainly it is found in the people around you, so never push them away, no matter how hard it may get over time.
 
One of my friends used to have cancer. She is always in and out of the hospital and is failing some classes because she isn't at school half the time because of her treatment. It must be horrible to go through something like that and I probably only understand half of what it truly feels like. Good luck and remember to keep on fighting. Show that cancer who's boss!! :)
 
How you doin' Poke? You're in my thoughts and prayers. Just keep faith that you'll make it through this and keep a smile all the way through. You got too much ahead of you, bein' 11, for a little bump like this to slow ya down ;).

Life works in strange ways and miracles do happen. One day you might be able to say "Man, when I was 11 I went through the craziest stuff...but it's better now."
 
Lymphoma? I hope it's treatable. I've heard that chemo can really suck. My Grandpa had to have chemo.
Anyway, good luck, stay strong.

Glad to hear your doing well. Keep trudging on. ^^ My thoughts are still with you, hopefully you can finally kick cancers butt and be free, oh and you must be happy to go to school. :D!
 
its all over!

yea!!!!! chemo is finally over! wohoo just a C.T. scan in 4 weeks and a PET scan in 6 weeks and if i am clear they will arrange for my CVC line to be taken out and i will be in recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:):classic::rambo::P:cool:

Wow all the medical talk has made me completely confused since I have no idea what any of it is XD but I know that this is a good thing! Staying positive helped didn't it? ^^

This is a pretty glum thread :/ I wish there was no such thing as cancer :(
 
Diseases like this gives us reason to celebrate recovery from it, makes us think about how the heck the human body could survive it, and wonder at the fact that it did.

Congratulations, man!

You said yourself that it would last until September, chemotherapy doesn't stop 2 months before it's supposed to, doctors do not do that, even if you have no cancer left. They will keep you on it, my mother had the same thing two years ago. I am sorry but I am beginning to have some doubts about this entire situation.

I agree, the human body alone is simply extraordinary, and just defies belief.

Congratulations, poke'boy, that's fantastic news. :D
 
Hmmm, this early take-off of Chemo is suspicious. :/ I apologise if you did make some miraculous recovery, in which case, apologies and congratulations, but I can't help but wonder.
