I used to be with it, but then they changed what ‘it’ was, and now what I’m with isn’t it. And what’s ‘it’ seems weird and scary to me.

just denying jon the opportunity to quote this <3

what fads/trends are around today that completely confuse you?

Ugh, I hate you Adri.

Drake. Super skinny jeans with ripped knees. Snapchat. Most emojis. There's undoubtedly more, but those are the four that instantly spring to mind.

Uh...

- Taking selfies, snapchat, and all the rest of the stuff associated with that
- Saying "sick" to describe something good
- Emojis
- Twitter in general
- Tumblr in general
- Social networking in general
- All the "music"
- "Reality" TV...this is still a thing, right?
- VR technology (hahahaha)
- Nationalism in politics dominating common sense more than usual (god I hope this is a trend)
- Open world video games (Christ where are they all coming from)

There are probably others, but I don't actually know what "it" is half the time. Faster to just say "all of them" because I really don't get where half this shit comes from or why it's so popular...

Fire Emblem Facebook memes. Jesus Christ, Facebook memes. Facebook in general really, clickbaity "news" ads all following the exact same formula spamming my news feed with rubbish, Messenger trying to be Snapchat, and Facebook memes. Thanks a lot, Mark Facebook.

youtube "celebrities"

what do people find so fascinating about irritating people shouting at a camera

What we find to be 'irritating shouting', young people consider 'authentic expressions of the feels', which is why youth is wasted on the young.

old, grumpy men.
True story: there used to be a comedy TV show called Grumpy Old Men, where 'famous' grumpy old men would talk to a camera, reality-TV style about what they hated and I mostly agreed with what they said even though I was 13 and they were, like, 60. I'd like to think I've mellowed out since then.
