Just posting again to say I don't find the Bieber thing very funny. It's about as funny as the Todoroki AFD prank in 2009.

Justin Bieber is some washed up retard trying to save his career by doing any sort of work; an example would be proactiv.

The bieber idea is an unoriginal thing seeing as how I've seen other forums do it in the past.

We could also put out fake announcements for a Ruby/Sapphire remake, or Generation VI that uses mind control and virtual reality with the new Nintendo 4DS. Or maybe Ash finally dies in the next anime episode?

Seriously, I think that would perhaps be the MOST EPIC TROLL in the HISTORY of PC, and yes, we would have to include a "New slogan!"

We'd need a few Digimon themes as well, but they'd be simplistic themes with only colors set and a header banner with notices saying new themes, and Digimon themed addons are in the works. >DD

And it'd be easy to append "-mon" to the end of usernames, it'd be as simple as a few extra lines of code in the style templates. :3

Oh yeah, and to sell it even harder, all staff members would appear as normal members (While retaining their power) and "New staff" would be Chosen out of the people no one suspects would ever be made staff. The "New staff" would simply bear the colored usernames and rank badges with no actual power. :P

Best yet, it could be passed off as PC being either "Sold" or "Hacked" ;)


As far as "Serebii" did it...well that doesn't matter. We can just oh so totally do it BETTER!
 
I actually like Pachy's idea of including a slogan. Maybe an edited header for all styles with a terrible slogan which is impossible not to notice.

If we're doing the digimon thing, we should showcase the typically "Digimon" pokemon like Zekrom, Haxorus, etc.

If we're doing the Bieber thing, we should have the page annoyingly sing Baby, Baby, Baby nonstop. And have a Bieber follow you so you can't escape. Ever.

I also like the fake staff badges. Maybe even remove the staff badges for the actual staff, so they can be normal for one day? (I know its too much, just generating ideas here.)

I still have the screenshots of when that happened in 2008 (in fact, I started my screenshots album just to save the screenshots of me as a mod that day, because I was sure I'd never see a real mod badge next to my name... at least, that's what I thought for about 5 days after that XD).

I'm liking this idea. ^^ If it all goes ahead this is going to be an epic April Fools Day.
 
Adding on to the staff being 'normal members' there should be a group made of fake staff members so it looks like the whole staff team has been replaced, making some members fake moderators, s-mods, etc.
 
Haha, that's a brilliant idea. I wonder what somebody who'd only joined in March would say if they randomly got a moderator tag...
 
Only issue is, it's happened before (as mentioned I think). Too bad!
 
What do you all think about a RTL text based theme.. pretty much all the text is backwards.
