Yeah, I'd be careful. You don't want to risk making the forum painful to use. I do like the idea of a text-based theme, though.

Can't do audio. It makes a mess of slow connections and blows out download quotas. Basically, people don't have a say in the matter and when you're downloading audio, it's as wasteful as it is intrusive. :P
 
Digimon is sooo overdone though. It was overdone even before PC started doing AF jokes. :( /would prefer the Biebs over that

(Also no audio. Ugh. D8)

And if we do something that sacrifices readability (like flipping the text or something like that), it should only be on the front page.

I'm pretty sure you are referring to when everyone was made a moderator, and if so what we are suggesting is different, making it look like someone hacked PC or something of that sorts along with the Beiber thing or the Digimon thing.


Also, the text thing would get pretty annoying making the site unusable. Maybe something just as annoying but with the site still usable? Like the Tordorki thing but different.
 
Same thing still applies, PC's been "hacked" on April Fools before.

Also I believe there were rumours of Serebii merging with PC during 2006's April Fools too.

Thought all these are nice... I still don't think there April Fools worthy. Aprils fools is all about tricking people into something. So changing the avatars and signatures... isn't haha funny. It's just "okay... seems like everyone's signature is flipped.. cool.. :/"

YES DO THIS. OR BOTH. We wouldn't want to screw with people's avy/sig themes, after all. :cer_laugh:

Also, we should find a certain word and replace it with another when used in posts. Like the Pokemon>Todoroki system a few years ago. But make it really common. Like a misspelling of some pokemon-related terms. Why not make a few people look like idiots? :cer_nod:

I like this idea best out of what I've seen.
 
Ignored as usual ;-;... Why don't we just slap on a lagre tag onto each signature where it says "U Liek Mudkips?" and make the sig un-editable... or as i suggested do something funny, and mildly entertaining.
