So say there was a new mainstream Pokemon game came out, and there were different paths to take. So instead of getting all the gym badges and becoming the Pokemon master by defeating the Elite Four, there were alternate paths such as getting all the ribbons and becoming the best Pokemon Coordinator and mastering the Grand Festival or something. If there were alternate paths to finishing a Pokemon game, would you take them?

I, personally would take an alternate path one day if I had the option to. I think it'd be fun to take a coordinator route and teach my Pokemon moves for elegance, and flair. It'd be nice if there were awesome combination moves as well. :D

I've never reset and replayed a Pokemon game before, and that would make me. I'm the kind of person who, in a visual novel, has to keep playing until I see all the endings, lol. So I'd definitely play through multiple times to see every option.

I think I would stay on the path of defeating the gyms and challenging the Elite 4, since thats the routine im used to.

Yes, it would be fun. Provided you still levelled up and such, or even that you could do both (Like Nando in the anime).

I'd always end up going through on the gyms though...I guess this idea would be kinda an enlargement of the ideas in R/S where there were four contest halls?

I would like if the game had more paths to take, it would be more of a challenge :)

I'd love a game that gave you multiple possibilities.

I was so disappointed and have always wished for this ever since Nugget Bridge from Gen I, when the Team Rocket member asks if you want to join up. I'm all like, "Yeah sure I'll join up!" but the game's all like, "No, you gotta be a pokeymons mastersz!"

I'd play as a Team Rocket member. Hey, the villain protagonist thing has been done before in Colosseum.

I agree with you. I would definitely play as the villains just to see how the villains react in the situation of some 10-15 year old kid completely demolishing them.

Also it would be cool if it had different endings based on how you played or whatever.

I'd stick to the mainstream version of the games, but I'd like to see alternate post-game events (after defeating the Elite 4).

I'll be a Pokemon hoarder. =w= I keeps a load of Pokemon on one game like some kind of pack rat. lol

I'd have one game where I do everything normally and another where I play through every possible different path. Like that man should let me be a Team Rocket member on Nugget Bridge. And I am still waiting for my Pokemon Co-ordinator game, Nintendo.

I would take the evil path because I'm sick of being good! Instead of catching pokemon, I will steal them from trainers and as for money and items, most of that would be from scamming. The ultimate goal would be to rise to the top of the pyramid of whatever evil team I'm in by any means necessary.

If everyone wants to be on the EVIL side... HOW will it be made into an anime? Kids will learn stealing, and scamming.... Well, instead why don't Game Freak make two alters of a New Pkmn game into being Champion or Ribbon Master(? I dunno what its called). I also wish Game Freak could make Pokemon for Sony(Playstation) :3. Sound good?

Oh, man. That would be great. :O
It would make Pokemon games a ton less linear, and make me like them alot more. Though, probably only if they add multiple save files. Just only being able to have one file, with all these different routes you can take is kind of a slap in the face.

Pokémon is made by GameFreak for Nintendo's consoles.
I highly doubt they wouldn't even think of making a pokémon game for Sony.

I'd prefer to stick to the traditional gym, but I'd like an alternate path where you can be a master breeder or a member of the evil team.

I'd like to take an alternate path where a new evil organization rises and you decide to join and work your way up through the ranks to become its leader, thwarting any threats to your success along the way.

I'd like to found an evil organisation and watch it grow under my rule as my Pokemon slowly became stronger and I gained more support. But that's probably too much to ask of a mainstream Pokemon game, they'd need to make a whole other spin-off series for that option :P

I'd like an alternate path where you could become a Gym Leader. Building your own Gym and placing people in it would be awesome, and you could plan an awesome team to beat people with!

I like this idea. Depending on the options I would do the alternate path.
