Unova: Mmmmm, hard one. I guess Keldeo.

Kanto: Mewtwo - Mewtwo has always been one of the most powerful Pokemon, it still is today four generations later.
Johto: Suicune - This was a tough one between Lugia and Suicune, but ever since the release of Crystal it's always been one of my most favorite Pokemon.
Hoenn: Latios - My favorite Dragon and favorite legend of all time, I love it's design.
Sinnoh: Dialga - This was another tough choice, but, I chose Dialga for it's brilliant typing. In the Ubers Metagame one must always prepare for Dialga. It's very unique.
Unova: Reshiram - I dislike most of the Unova legendarys outside of Reshiram and Zekrom, but I choose Reshiram for being the first Fire and Dragon Type. Even though most Dragons can breathe fire. We finally have a Dragon-Type to receive STAB from it's fire attacks.

Just kidding. Intended to be a tongue and cheek. Though one thing that is true is that legendaries are not special anymore on other regions... excluding maybe Johto. (If you want to know, my fave from that region is Lugia.)
