If you could do whatever you want for the next year, what would it be?

So, let's say through some sort of magic, you no longer have any responsibilities, or have to worry about finances. For the next year, you can do ANYTHING you want, and then continue with school, or your job, or whatever else is going on in your life exactly as it is now, after one year. What would you do? It could be as simple as playing video games 24/7, or maybe traveling the world, or learning a language/instrument, etc.

There are a couple conditions btw. You cannot keep any money or physical items that you gain during this period. Only knowledge, physical abilities, and memories. (Except maybe souvenirs if you visit a foreign place, just because it wouldn't make sense not to have something in that situation. lol)

I would visit PC friends! Would I be able to keep photos? Lol I'd probably visit various countries, like France and Ireland. Basically traveling in general is what I'd do, despite not really liking trips.

I was actually just thinking about this today! What I'd want to do is go on a road trip across the whole country by myself. (Assuming I'd be able to drive, because you said we could do anything. Besides, I'm old enough to drive, I just haven't gotten to it yet.) Oh, and I'd go with no technology except the CD player in my car, because I need a break from it.

Maybe I'd even visit all 48 states, excluding Hawaii and Alaska. I mean I'd have the time and money to do so. I could even visit every single Walmart in the continental US and take pictures at each one! That would be so cool.

I'd do all the things I've always wanted to do but couldn't because my mother doesn't want to; I'd stop at cheap tourist traps, flirt with cute businessmen, listen to music I actually like in the car, visit the world's biggest ball of twine, sing karaoke, go to a square dance, visit a whole bunch of museums, and more.

Most importantly, I'd be doing it by myself. I wouldn't have to care about what anyone else wanted, and I wouldn't be embarrassed about doing stuff in front of people I know. It'd be so totally rad! :D

I would definitely visit my online friends. I want to be able to take pictures with them and have fun and stuff. XD And I would love to attend a Foster the People concert. They sound like fun. ^__^

As said above, I'd visit my PC friends, as well as my old friends from BMGf who I still keep in touch with.

Definitely travel the world with my boyfriend.. and go to VIP like places like fashion shows or try one of those SUPER fancy restaurants with beluga caviar or even going to tibet and going to the buddhist shrines there.. oh man.. so much to do! I would love to drive a lambourghini reventon!

Spend a year at Dubai, chillin' and relaxin'. I'd also finally be able to go to a champions league final, whether Man Utd plays or not.

I would probably go out and experience adventure, caught between ghost-hunting and doing extreme sports.

Travel to other countries in the world. It's not something I'll ever have the money to do again, and it's the perfect thing to do if all I really get to keep are memories. I'd at least visit all the major English-speaking countries, and then Japan because I lived there for four years and want to re-visit it. After that, if I have spare time, I'd go visit friends I haven't seen in awhile and some PC friends, I think. I hate to admit it but I'd rather go visit places I know I could never see again then spend the whole time with people I possibly could after the trip's over. *shrugs*

Before I do anything, I would visit some really old friends who I haven't been able to meet in person yet. I'd rent a beach house for us to run away to and catch up on real life, at least for a week or so. I'd probably come home after that and do it all over again with my high school friends. Beaches are extremely nostalgic to me; I haven't been to one since I was very young, and being there with such close friends would make me incredibly happy.

I'm not sure what I would do after that... traveling doesn't interest me too much, but that might just be because I've never been far enough from home to know what it's like. I guess I'd visit a few places just for the hell of it, but I'd probably come back home before the year is even up. I think all I'd really want is to be able to spend more time with the people I love. Besides that, I'm pretty content with the way my life is right now.

I'd go on artist retreats. Maybe spend a month or so in a different place each time. I'd spend most of the day in some nice and quiet room and write, maybe read some, and perhaps try out some other kinds of art like painting just because. When I need a break I could just go out and enjoy being in a new place and that alone might entertain and inspire me.

If I'd be changing locations a lot there's a lot of room to see the world. I could go everywhere I've thought would be fun, like Finland and Mongolia and maybe just somewhere I've never thought about on a whim. I'd be great.

Heck I'd go visit all my forum friends, not just from PC and we'd take a road trip together. That or I'd visit each of my forum friends and spend a great time with them before moving on to visit another forum friend then forced them to live here

Free of other obligatory work, I'd devote the year to building the world I've imagined in glorious CG, and maybe crank out a very short trailer-like film or two. If "whatever I want" can also include "with whoever I want" I'd also spend that year with the man of my dreams - making CG art (maybe he has a world he wants to build, too), going on adventures, watching movies, snuggling, and all manner of blissful activity.

Without having to worry about finances, I'd just travel the world for most of the year. I would love the opportunity to spend some time learning about each area's culture and history. The other thing I would like to do would be to write a book. I've got a lot of ideas, but never have the time to start on anything, so this is something else I'd do with all that free time.

I'd visit my PC friends and we can hang out at an amusement park together. I'd probably also chill in Tokyo, Paris, Milan, Moscow or other places. I'd watch tournaments/competitions live, get a PS3, PSP and a 3DS, learn Japanese, go to museums, go to adoption centers and more.

Hmmm. When first thinking about this it kinda sucks that it's only a year of whatever I want, but logically that would fit right into my hand because I'd have a year without having to worry about the future and stuff, so... I choose travelling the world taking photos (so without company but somehow be safe? idk) assuming I can! If not then I'm continuing life as it is, uni is enough of a distraction from stuff for me. :x

And here's me thinking my lil' ol' 'travel the world' idea would be wholly original! Despite the fact that it appears like I'm jumping on a bandwagon, it's still what I'd do. Start off around Europe (just generally... nowhere in particular in mind), head down to north Africa and especially Egypt, trot on over to the gargantuan that is Asia (paying particular attention to China, Vietnam, Korea and Japan), going down to Australia and New Zealand, then across the Pacific to South America, where I'd casually make my way up til I got to the US and - after a short sojourn through Southern Canada - finish in New York City, only to fly back and be disappointed with the rest of my life. Yay for run-on sentences!
