Hi Aisaka! How are you?
Not bad! I've since gone out for a walk (and grocery shopping) but the day's been a little slow. Which I don't mind. Got the chance to catch up on anime I've been slacking off on watching, and more preparation I'm doing for a grind in an idol game coming up pretty soon.

I gotta get the right girls, y'know?

Hope you're doing well too.~

A walk sounds really good, I could use one of those!

Is grocery shopping awkward where you live with covid restrictions etc?

I'm good thanks :)

I got a letter this morning saying I will be in the next covid vaccination group but I don't have an actual day yet, so that was weird / scary / good!

Walks have been really kind to me, even though I hate wearing a mask so I try to stay indoors so I don't have to deal with it all. I was considering trying to go out more regularly after taking a walk maybe a week ago, but my mom's been worried about sickness and stuff... which is weird considering she was the one who sent me out shopping.

It's usually not too awkward, the stores aren't often busy (at least when I go around early evening) and it seems like it's all well-run and handled well. Apparently there's a big scare about it on the opposite side of the country, but I haven't felt unsafe or awkward going into shops. (minus the obvious, things like being required to wear a mask when you go out and sanitize when walking in)

Glad to hear, and that seems like good news, I'll admit I really haven't been paying attention to... a lot of this stuff but hey, that seems pretty good.~

my neighborhood is perfect for safe outside walks considering how closed off and far away it is from the bustling city. also the fact that it's got really nice roads and walkways. just need the drive to go outside tbh.

and awesome to hear about the vaccinations Ash!

That's pretty much the opposite of me. I wouldn't say I live in the heart of the city but I'm pretty close to a major train station, so while it makes shopping super convenient there's always gonna be people around. I like it when it's busier anyways though, I can stand out less.

I don't have a good way to tie this into this message but... here's my Setsuna gif for this post.~

Our trains are pretty much standard public transport and can take you between different cities, but they're really not all that special. I've been on a train out of the country and that's probably closer to what people consider travelling on a train to be like. I guess I'd describe the long-distance train trip as... it's as if you were on an airplane (the inside seems pretty similar) but you're obviously not in the air. I've only been on a long-distance train and a plane once each, but they felt pretty much the same.

As for our public transport trains, yeah those just feel like buses with more people on them.
