    Have you ever had any "rivals"? Whether it be someone in your family, one of your friends, or someone you just don't like; have you ever had someone that wants to do things better than you, or vice versa?

    Take me for instance; my biggest rival was this chap I befriended at my old band practice. We both played the saxophone, and we've been always competing at things like video games, sports, etc.
     
    Not really. I'm a pretty lax person, so trying to be competitive with me tends to only backfire. I have a friend who tries to be competitive with me in Brawl, but since he's so much better than me, half the time I don't even try, haha.
     
    No, I don't have any rivals. Although other people try to be better than me; I just don't care.
     
    Yeah. But he's also like one of my closest friends.
    We're always alternating positions in examinations. And if there's a guitar solo he can play and I can't, then I'll be staying up all night practicing. Same goes for sports, mainly football/soccer. We're pretty competitive. And I find it pretty healthy.
     
    honestly, i try my hardest to not be competitive, i just make sure i do whatever i'm supposed to do right, but like reuniclus said, every ash has a gary, i guess i do have one or two, but i'm just not seeing and noticing him/her.

    I guess I have a pretty friendly gaming rivalry with my little brother. If one of us does something better than the other, we tend to rub it in each other's faces. Wouldn't have it any other way. :) And my sister and I do sometimes, if we do word wars together. She always writes more than me, though... Which is okay because I get to write way more often than she does, muahahaha.

    I guess all my rivalries are in my family. How lame. :p
     
    I have a rival when it comes to academics, We're friends but we always do compete in grades, but still I always win. :)
     
    Not really no. I have had people I disliked but they weren't my 'rival' as you ask.
    I don't really like the idea of having someone who I have to try and better all the time.​

    yes a couple years ago wen i used to sell alot of dope one of my friends in the bussiness with me became my biggest rival ever........i just moved too much weight too quick....and he aint like it.....and he was from New York.....and im from Miami, Fl baby....it had all the ingredients for a big rivalry....and we are no longer homies (long story short) i live a better life now and i am heading for a bright future hopefully
     
    Yes, I do he is not my friend or family, it's this kid who thought he was better than me at basketball..

    So, I owned him at it.
     
    Not necessarily. I've had people to look up to and try to be like them, but I've never had any rivals to speak of.
