too bad :( anyway have you already coded the pokedex and the attacks (i mean the flames etc. when using flamethrower, animations :P)?
 
No I havent.
The situation whit the battle system is the core coding is completed.
I.E All the damage calculation,stat calulation etc is done.
All I really need to do is basically just type in the attacks,like the name how much pp accuracy etc.
Same with pokemon.
So in essence the battle system would be complete if there were only 3 pokemon and 5 attacks :D.
But the rest is just basically filling in the blanks so it shouldnt take to long.
Anyway my site is down again :(
But im gonna try and get every map in tilko done this weekend(at least the outside ones).
So expect some new screens.

Are you using the "authentic" battle system calculations and formulae?
 
if you mean with "authentic" that he used the same calculations and formulae as in the original games i believe/am almost sure that he does.
 
Sorry for the double post but I have new screens.
Two of Blackthorn city in G/S/C and two of a new city from Tilko.
The new city is split into four parts:a residential area,buisness district,area with a gym and an area with a casino and giant mart.
The areas I have shown are the buisness district and the casino and mart.

Out of sheer curiosity, are you making this game in 320x240 resolution like in those screens? Because the only difference I can actually see between your game and that of a professional is the screen resolution ;)

Yes I reckon.. Nintendo has some competition!
Isn't it ironic that Nintendo's professional work is being beaten by the very people that it's market is aimed at?

That means alot coming from two of the most respected people here.
And yeah I am making this in 320x240.
I tried making it the gba resolution sphere has problems switching to fullscreen when not in a 320x240 res.
So I thought it would be to small to play it in a window.
 
I like those screens. Kinda makes me think of a jumbled up Saffron, Blackthorn
and Celadon City. That would be convenient won't it? On the fourth screen though,
I think that the colurs of the two fountains are a bit dark. Not the water that's coming up,
but the bricks and water around the part that's coming up.

Nah your game really does have a lot of great elements to it and I think that you're gonna go a long way in life if you can do something like this as a hobby!

Ok i've completed the town and city maps.
Note that theese aren't the only places you can go to because the routes,caves,mountains,sea routes,lakes,forests etc are not listed. Also Kalma Island isn't listed here because that is the setting of the main story(go the website then check the storyline page if you want to know more).

Some of the names are derived from the Irish language,next to each I have the meaning and phoenetical pronunciation.
Also theese are in no particular order so this isn't the order they go in the game.

Each one that has (G) next to it has gym.

Okmo Town.(Starting Town)
Ardcarraig(Ord Karrig)-Meaning=High Mountain(this town is on a mountain)
Fharraig City(G)(Arrig)-Meanning =Sea City.
Goath Town(Gway)-Meanning =Wind Town.
Lyric Town
Amhainn City(G)(Ow-inn)-Meaning =River City
Dearg Town(G)(Darr ugg)-Meaning =Red Town
Crann Island(G)(Crown)-Meaning =Tree Island
Ceol Town(G)(q-ole)-Meanng =Music Town
Driochta Town(G)(Dree uch ta)-Meaning =Magic Town
Ceirthe City(G)(Care ah)-Meaning = Four City(this is the city that is split into four)
Fluich Town(Flooch)-Meaning =Wet Town(ironic since this is a desert town)

I know thats only 7 gyms but you'll have to play to find out how to get the 8th badge :D

You finished ALL of the town maps? o_O Oh my god.. That was so quick..
Do you have any caves or anything left to do?
 
@ Phoenix there will be no new pokemon.
Well there might be one or two new ones like maybe a new ledgendary.

@Krazy_Meerkat Yeah I do.
I still have to do some routes aswell but it looks as though tilko is on its way to being finnished pretty soon.
