Hiya! My name's Jess.

I became a Pokemon fan as a kid when I was around 7 years old, with Red and Blue. I also watched the anime of course!

I didn't get into the TCG until later, though.

Currently I am obsessed with shiny hunting in the newer games! Anyone like that here?

I'm also very excited for Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

My favourite Pokemon is Sylveon! :3 What's yours?

Nice to meet you Jess, welcome to the PokeCommunity! I also started with the originals, they're pretty good games! They're still some of my favorites up to this day. I'm not a huge shiny hunter myself, but there are a lot of other members here who are. You can share your findings, and meet some of them over in the Shiny Hunters Club!

Thank you for the welcome! They are really good games. However, I think Pokemon games have gotten increasingly better with each version. Especially lately! Every time I think my favourite is THIS game, they come out with something even better than before! At least, that's my opinion. :) I know a lot of people prefer gen 1 games.

Thanks for the link! I will go check that out shortly! What's the most exciting news you've heard about USUM so far? I'm most interested in Team Rocket's appearance, and the dimension-hopping. xD I can't wait to see how it'll turn out.

Thank you for the welcome! They are really good games. However, I think Pokemon games have gotten increasingly better with each version. Especially lately! Yeah, I'd say everyone game is good with its own reasons. I like RBY considering they were my first games, so I have plenty of memories and nostalgia tied with the games. it'd say the most exciting things so far would be the Team Rocket reveal, and all the Ultra Space stuff. It looks really neat, kind of how the Distortion World was in Platinum. I'm really looking forward to exploring it once the game comes out!

I've been seeing many of yours posts around the Meet & Greet section and I'm so glad you've been able to contribute and find a nice niche here. You'll definitely get a lot out of the Shiny Hunter's club like Radiating stated, so check that out if you like to shiny hunt. The Trade Corner is also a great place if you want to connect with other trainers / breeders who are looking for shinies too! =)

Well I never really got into the cards... they weren't too popular here, so I never had the interest, even if some of them have pretty cool pictures on them. While I'm not getting the new games for some reasons, I'm glad that you are hyped and interested on them. I'm sure you'll have a blast here with us, I'm curious on which is your favorite Pokemon game?

It took me a while to get into the cards too. I wasn't into them as a kid, it's only been recently that I've been into it. :) My favourite game is probably Sun/Moon at the moment. I'm not sure which of them though. :D Which Pokemon game is your favourite?

Ah, nostalgia factor is definitely a thing to consider. uwu The old games were super impressive for their time in my opinion. And although I love the current gen the most, it never would have existed if it weren't for its amazing release back then. I agree, I'm super excited for USUM!

Oh yay another Sylveon lover! Nice to meet you! Well, I suppose what's the point of joining a forum if I don't post much? That being said, I've never kept up with any forum forever. I'm actually really shy and have some social anxieties. Every now and then I close up in my shell and feel too afraid to come back. =w=; That's how I stray away from most communities. I'll do my best to stay here as long as I can, though. It would be a shame to miss out on a community like this one about my favourite franchise, with such nice people!

Do you prefer regular Sylveon or shiny Sylveon? Despite being a shiny hunter, I actually prefer regular Sylveon. I love blue, but I love pink more!

We also have sections dedicated to the Pokemon Anime as well as the TCG, so if you're feeling adventurous, don't hesitate to give them a visit too. There is a friend system here on PC, if you go to the persons profile you'd like to add, you should see a link that says "Add Friend" it should look something like this:
