Imagine a world with no internet or wifi access

I don't really know. I don't use the internet as frequently as some. I think I'll do okay; might do my social life good.

It would be an inconvenience at first when getting used to the way things used to be, but ultimately I would accept it. Idk I'd like to see people draw out of their bubbles a little.

I was 15 when I got it, so I've lived without it and got by fine. 8D

I'm sure I could easily revert if I had to. It'd help that nobody else had it either!

I will bet anybody here $20 that a day after the No Internet Apocalypse I will strangle myself with a USB cord. I'd be forced to, damn it, go outside and mingle.

My social life, which is already quite laughable, would be the only thing affected. I have gone without internet, on and off, pretty much my entire life. When it's gone, I usually just pick up a book, or play piano a bit more than I do on an average day. At night, it would be me playing video games. I don't play those online as is, because I have nobody to play with. I've always been a bit of a hermit, regardless of internet access, so I think I would be okay. Internet radio would be missed. I hate the stations here lol.

I wouldn't mind it as much - then there would be a great idea to be had!

Though I have to say that the existance of the internet was "natural" and would have happened with the spread of efficient maufactuing of sillicon-based computers anyways. So if I imagined a world without internet, it would also correspond to a world without sillicon-based electronics. The world would probably be in an age of mechanics and the more traditional feilds of engineering.

I'll... go try and focus on my story.

And cry at the fact that I lost contact with my friends over the internet.

And cheer at the fact that I don't have to log in every few minutes to check on when I can enter my course plans at university... and then cringe at the thought of queues.

I'd probably freak out, but at least I wouldn't see everyone consistantly on their phones all the time, tapping away. That would probably be the only plus.
