M'okay, I'd like to thank you all for playing the first round! Your 72 hours are up. The thread is now locked and the results post will hopefully be up in a couple hours. :)

Details about singing up/leaving the game for the second round will be included in it.​

Freedom of Speech​

Light's skin began to grow heavy on her. She didn't feel as human as her appearance let on, obediently taking notes as the group of D-Class squabbled about the room beyond her window. She imagined what she would've done ... she noticed very early on that most of the subjects panicked when they believed they could no longer say names, when in actuality only a certain amount of nouns in a sentence were effected ... they could've easily saved themselves this torment if they had just spoken more, she thought ... but, when it came to the reality of the situation, it didn't really matter what her opinion was, did it?

The only person who triumphed past the affliction was Klippy, who even found usefulness in it. He talked of false poisonings, and constantly threw blame on those around him ... only to contradict himself later. This confused Light until she began to see a faint green aura radiating off his skin. She had received a report from an agent hidden within the ranks of the D-Class, [tier=t3]Golgari[/tier], that he believed Klippy to be an uncontained SCP. It all became clear. The fiend was trying to get himself killed over his erratic behavior. He thought his own properties could intermingle with the violent nature of SCP-1059, perhaps. There was only one way to find out.

Problem was, people started believing him. He'd point blame at someone he thought was blatantly unsuspicious, only for someone else to follow his lead. His psychological tricks were apparently lost on his peers, and only one voice - that which belonged to [tier=t3]Nakuzami[/tier] - even suggested what Klippy's true nature may have been. Bubbling with frustration, he accidentally convinced enough people to kill off [tier=t1]Bardothren[/tier].

[tier=t1]Bardothren[/tier] smiled as they thrust him into the pile of paper pulp. gimmepie, the only confirmed innocent in the room, was restraining him when he saw a glaze of mischief over his victim's eyes. The spark of realization came too late as [tier=t1]Bardothren[/tier] gripped his fingers around gimmepie's throat, watching as the infamous "Nobody" shriveled into a black, inky corpse. As others stood silent, [tier=t3]Milotic[/tier] felt an influx of newfound faith wash over her. She remembered how [tier=t1]Bardothren[/tier] had voted for her, and thought it was some sort of sign that she was chosen by her God. She immediately took out the knife she had kept hidden and introduced it to the neck of her former comrade, Syndrome, before the crowd re-surged with life and began attacking itself.

The Administrator watched distastefully as the innocents within the group were slaughtered, the only enemy casualty being that of Omicron - the incredibly quiet member of The Serpent's Hand - who had let his guard down to a sneak attack by [tier=t1]Absol used bite![/tier] and [tier=t2]Foxrally[/tier].

He didn't like using temporal or extradimensional SCPs often ... and even though the one he kept on his desk had a tendency to shift reality when it was used, he felt the need to try this day over again. His experiment had failed miserably.

The ANOMALY-SIDED team reins victorious.

Concerning Round Two​

After seeing Round One, I've decided that there will be a little tweaking of roles and rules come the next round; which of course you'll be notified of when it begins. However, I think it would be best to try the next round with only ten players. If you were apart of the last round and wish to continue participating, please make a post that clearly states your intentions to do so in the thread again. New players that join get priority however, if they show up. The Sign-Up phase will last 24 Hours or until there are enough sign-ups if there isn't enough accumulated interest in that time.

Also, if you're confused, I highly, highly recommend you watch these videos of One Night Ultimate Werewolf. Our roles are a bit more complex and eccentric, but it helps you understand concepts about how this game is run.

The Church of the Broken God role now only comes in one copy. Since there are a lack of two people holding this role, there will be no off-site private chat unless Herman Fuller's Circus doppelgang's the person holding this role. They will still be converted to the ANOMALY side if an ANOMALY-SIDED role votes for them in the day phase.

Marshall, Carter, and Dark LTD. also comes in only one copy. It still no holds Night Action but it now guarantees that if you are lynched, whoever you voted for in the day lynch will be executed instead.

The Serpent's Hand may now mark three individuals.

He started screaming about it not being enough!

That it needed more, but there wasn't any more, there was barely any metal left anywhere!

Then he pointed at Allen. He said he was hiding metal from the great machine.

Allen screamed that he didn't have anything. Father Pat said he had a metal joint in his hip. Everyone got up at once.

Oh god, oh god… they grabbed him, everyone just grabbed him… he started screaming…

He kept screaming and screaming, and nobody cared… I saw his arm go in, saw all his fingers break and pull the rest of the arm in… and I ran.

What could I do?

Jesus, I couldn't stop it, there were too many, and that thing was screaming and screaming and Allen was screaming and Father Pat…

Round Two:
Without Any Light​

This whole time it's been right behind me!​

The Administrator had given only a second of thought to this idea in his own timeline, but in this new reality ... it appears he was a bit more aggressive.

The D-Class looked down into the black abyss beyond the first flight of stairs; a gust of cold air busting through the entrance laid uncomfortably upon their skin. They itched at a contraption clipped onto their necks. [tier=t3]Nakuzami[/tier] gave a nervous grin to the people standing right next to him before poking a scientist on his shoulder.

"So, uh, Doc," he said. "What's all this? It doesn't look like the janitor's closet it makes itself out to be."

[tier=t3]Nakuzami[/tier] chuckled a little at his own joke, but the scientist gave him a subtly vicious and unmovable glare.

"This is SCP-087," he said. "The little collar we placed on your neck will work as a camera. We'll be seeing what you're seeing, and we'll hear what you hear. Let's see how far you all make it down."

Not comforted, the subjects began to descend down the stairs. Right as the last of them entered, [tier=t3]Nakuzami[/tier] could've sworn he heard one of the scientists utter something as the door slam shut.

"God help them."
