Hey all, I decided to create a thread because I felt much more comfortable sharing it with supporters whom I know are dedicated to the community and you guys seem pretty cool. Why not?

I'm Musicality and I'm 14. Yes, I'm that age. I really hope that revealing my age won't change the way people talk to me on a regular basis and whatnot, it's the main reason why I conceal my age from other forums, because it's happened a couple times before. I'm pretty confident that this a cool place, so I should have no problem sharing it with you guys.

I'm a Male who's enjoyed Pokemon since young, my first game being Leafgreen. I've played everything with the exception of X and Y, including R/B/Y and G/S/C. In fact, I was so hooked on those games I saved up and bought a Pokemon painted original Gameboy along with the cartridges for the original gaming experience.

I enjoy outdoor sports much as I enjoy staying indoors and reading, playing Pokemon and being on PC. I'm currently sailing, but have stopped for a while due to work and tests, all that good stuff. Soccer is also my thing, but I'm not really skilled at it, so most of the time I'm comfortable playing with my friends because I don't need to worry about making a fool out of myself. :p

I tend to dislike PC based games, which I'm sure a lot of people love, but it just never grew on me. The result is that I have and probably will stick to Console Games such as Pokemon and games on Touchscreen such as those on the iPad and some casual games on my phone. Persona 3 is one of my favorite games in general, having discovered P3P via my friends. Another franchise that I'm a huge fan of is Harvest Moon. There's quite the stereotype that only girls play it, but I know quite a lot of my male friends, both online and in real life, enjoy the series as much as I do. My favorite would definitely have to be Harvest Moon- Friends of Mineral Town in the GBA. It's seen over 3 digits of playtime.

I love debates in general, whether it's about Pokemon or any current affairs because they just bring out the fire in me, and because they're so fun and engaging in general. Mainly the reasons why I love to write walls of text. Forgive me. :p

When people meet me, the first impressions they'll have of me are a nuisance, loud, boisterous and all that. I'm actually quite the mischievous kid, but it's not much to be proud of. In actuality I'm really quiet and reserved on the inside, it's just kind of a mask of some sort that's just grown onto me. I'm really hoping that I'll forge some lasting friendships here.

Nice to meet y'all! Feel free to drop any questions or things you'd like to ask me. I'll be more than happy to answer them, and hopefully expand this even further till i crash your browsers muhahaha. Ask away, guys! ^^

Would you consider yourself mature for your age?

What video game would you say you are most eagerly anticipating, if any?

What is the origin behind your username?

I've noticed that you've become very active here on PC since you've joined; have you ever had any experience on any other Pokemon sites, or other forums in general?

I'll try to answer all of these. :)

I wouldn't consider myself or rather couldn't consider myself mature, because I don't have any other minors that I can compare to on the forums at the moment, but the general benchmark I set for myself as a "mature" person would be if I was able to post normally like any other user on the forums which I belive consists of people older than me, without being questioned about my age. Yeah, that would sum it up pretty nicely. :) What do you think? It'll be cool to have someone else gauge my maturity, gauging oneself's maturity is amost never accurate. ;)

Video game..... It wouldn't definitely have to be ORAS, this is a Pokemon forum, eh? Other games that I would be itching to play after they've been released in the near future would be the next Harvest Moon installment and Persona 5, which I believe is expected to come around end-2015 or so.

The origin for my username would be my love for music, but rather musical instruments in general. I've grown pretty attached to the piano even though I'm still relatively new to it, hovering around the Grade 4-5 range, but I love playing it. It's a great way to express emotions and let loose. Also, the idea of "Musicality" just kind of popped up in my head, and it did sound decent and it tied in well with my interests, so why not?

I've had previous experience on a Pokemon Forum RPG quite a few years back, and while I've not been a Smogon member, I've enjoyed reading through their analysis and suspect tests. It's a great way to gain knowledge about the competitive battling scene in general. When you have a positive community here on PC, it's natural that you'd want to stay on a lot because the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, one of the main reasons I decided to donate. :)

IDK, you seem pretty mature to me for a 14 year old from what I've seen of you.

But as for questions, you mentioned something about sailing in your OP. Could you tell us a bit about that? Also, since you are into music and play some instruments, do you think we'll get to hear you play something? Maybe on your blog?

    Thanks a bunch! ;)

Yeah, I started sailing around the age of 11, still currently sailing an Optimist boat, the so called "'mini" sized boat. It's actually grown onto me and I'd go to sail very weekend, but now I just can't find the time to sail, so it's going to be put on hiatus for a while, I guess. It's really a pity.

Sure, why not? I think it's a cool idea, I could do it sometime, if I don't procrastinate everything. xD Exams are around the corner though, so I should make a mental note to get to that in a few weeks time, when the hols kick in. Don't expect anything fancy though, my skills are still somewhat limited. ;)

So you say you play Piano, what are your favourite songs to play?

Do you play any other instruments?

By extension, what is your favourite genre of music or favourite musician?

I don't have much musical experience if you're looking at it in terms of my musical grade, but my favourite by far would be Fur Elise by Ludwig Van Beethoven. Wonderful melody and it's a great song to play overall, though I'm still in the process of learning the entire unabridged song. I don't play any other instruments, but I'd love to pick up the violin once I've got a decent grasp on the Piano, but I would like to manage and focus on one instrument at a time.

My favourite genre of music would definitely be Chipmusic, and the musician Saberpulse. Chipmusic isn't a very widely known genre, it basically involves making music using old consoles such as Gameboys and SNES, as well as a few PC programs. You can check it out, see what you think of it. It's vastly different when you're comparing it to classical music, which I don't have any specific preference but just love the genre in general. ;)

If it makes you feel better, I thought you were way more mature than 14 when I read a couple of your posts. :) I get judged a lot based on my age as well so you're not alone on that. :p Anyhow, here's some questions for you. ^^

What motivates you to practice and continue music? (this is coming from someone who's really slack when it comes to music ;_;)
Do you have a favourite subject?
If you had to play a single video game for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Are you much of an anime watcher/what are your favourite shows if you do?

That's for the compliment, that's really cool. Yeah, if you don't publicly display your age you usually get judged on your post quality if you're talking only about forums, in other areas it's usually your interests (although that may be stereotyping) and the way you converse with others.

Ahaha, I can be really slack sometimes, but when I don't feel like continuing, I turn on the classical music radio station and listen to some of the piano pieces played by or made by famous composers, and it usually motivates me to continue practicing in the hope that I'll be able to play like that one day.

My favoruite subject would be hands down English Language. It's something I really enjoy, because it's a way for you to communicate with others, a way to express your current emotions and yourself in general especially through writing and the like, and the fact that my love for English stemmed from novels and biographies, which I've grown to love over time.

I'm not much of an anime watcher apart from the weekly Pokemon shows, mainly because of the episode I had a few years back when I realized that once I started an anime series, I wouldn't stop, even if it meant sacrificing my social life, my homework and all the other stuff that mattered. Needless to say, my social life and results suffered, so until I feel that I can manage again I'll probably stay off anime for a while. ;)

Describe yourself in 5 words or less.

What is/are your favourite Pokemon and why?

If you could only play one game for the rest of your life, which one would it be?

Life of Musicality in five words, five minutes.
Nah, in all seriousness, I'll try to make this as accurate as possible. :) Here goes nothing:

    Mood-Driven
    Short Tempered
    Friendly
    Cheerful
    Curious

Yeah, not all of those are what you would call best traits. The quality of my work and the way I interact and talk to people are entirely dependent on my mood, and it gets out of hand quite fast sometimes. I also have these really random mood swings, where I'm feeling really sad and on top of the moon the next. It's nothing serious like bipolar though, it's just something that comes and goes for a few minutes. I have a really short fuse. It's something I'm working on, but when it's coupled with a bad mood it can cause me to do a lot of stupid things that I shouldn't have done. But oh well, practise makes perfect.

theres too much good in me i dont need a paragraph for that

One game? That's something to ponder about. Because of the fact that it would be for the rest of my life, I'd have to say Pokemon. Why not? I'll just have 20 years to try and work my way up to VGCs or as long as it takes, do all challenges possible and legitimately complete the Pokedex and be a Pokemon masterr, something I've always wanted to do but couldn't due to the fact that there are other games that require attention as well. Also because of the fact that Pokemon has incrased replay value now with the addition of keys to alter the difficulty and whatnot.

Oops, you forgot to answer the second question! I'm going to add it to this post haha. :P

What is/are your favourite Pokemon and why?

Do you have a prized possession that you can't bear to part with, even if you were offered a million dollars?

Oops, really sorry about that. My favourite Pokemon would have to be Bulbasaur. Mega Venusaur is great this generation, and it's nice to see one's favourite Pokemon rise to prominence. It has a wonderfully made design, and even though it's shiny isn't all that flashy, I still like it purely because of aesthetical reasons, but it can hold it's own competitively too.

Hmm... I actually don't have anything that I'm really attached to, but it if had to be something it would be a Bulbasaur figurine that my parents bought me a really long time ago. For sentimental reasons and the fact that I adore Bulbasaur.

    What's your favourite Pokemon?

    What's your dream career?

    ha sniped

My dream career would definitely have to be a politician. I love debating, and I've participated in many school held and casual ones, and debating and politics, along with current affairs are my main interest, outside of the mandatory Pokemon interest though. ;) A politician seems to be a great fit when compared with those interests, and it's definitely something I would work towards.

Is Caitlin your favorite character of the Pokemon series?

Also, do you have a favorite Pokemon type?

Yes, she probably is. Her Psychic potential is astonishing, not to mention she has style and to top it off, she was the only Elite Four member that really gave me problems in game.

My favourite type would definitely have to be Fairy. A handy immunity to the most offensive and threatening type - Dragon, as well as resistances to strong offensive types like Psychic and Fighting and a handful of great users in the form of Azumarill and Sylveon really helps it shine.
