Is anyone else having problems with the Chrome app crashing?

There is a cure, switch to another browser e.g. Firefox. Chrome is spyware (Google gets to know everything about your browsing habits and therefore makes profile about you) so it should be avoided anyway.

Yes, really, Chrome is known for its privacy issues.

if he wants to use Chrome, then let him use it.

Firefox is just as much with Spyware as Chrome is as well (based on your loose definition) because I'm very certain Mozilla collects data as well. And if you try to tell me that you can disable that, well guess what: you can turn off any data collection in Chrome as well.

Sounds like it might be a memory issue. How much RAM does your phone have, and how many background apps are open?

Also, have you tried an uninstall and reinstall of the app?

I can't uninstall Chrome because it came preinstalled on my phone
Idk how many apps are running in the background because my phone often closes them out
