Is it impossible to find friends on PC?

I find it really easy, mostly because I go to PC to Roleplay, and that hobby I share with those I interact. I've met some great people because of that online. People I actually cherish and appreciate. Go figure.
 
It's possible to make friends anywhere if you're compatible and willing to be friends with the people. If you're not, then it may well be impossible.

Friendships I've made online have their obvious drawbacks when distance comes into play, but they certainly have their upsides in that they transcend distance at times I guess?
 
Nah man that's not true. This is a wonderful place, I joined yesterday and I now have like, 10 awesome friends.

Just find a topic to talk about really, or impress them. Most of the people here sometimes don't reply because they got nothing to say, not because they hate you. Just be social. If they still don't reply to you, they don't worry, it's not the end of the world, it's their fault for not having a nice person like you as a friend or maybe they're really just shy.

Also I totally disagree about "don't care about people here just post" that's not true, if you just post then there's really no reason to stay.
 
I would just quote people and most often so people see your name more. Eventually, you will say "i like pizza" or something and someone will shoot you a VM saying "i like pizza too" and then conversation starts. PC is very outgoing and diverse. You will find someone to be friends with. Try the welcome lounge maybe.
 
If you can find friends everywhere then surely, it's pretty much possible here. You just have to reach out to them man.
 
I came back from an ~7year hiatus from PC. And I recognized like... 3 names of people that were regulars then and still are now?

I just went to sections that I had interest in, for example:
-I like watching anime (headed to the Anime and Manga forum)
-I like games (went to the video game forum)
-curious about people's opinions on stuff (read some threads in the round table and maybe gave my opinion as well)

etc. You don't have to walk up to people and say hi, but if you partake in threads/forums of things you have interest in - well, you're bound to meet people with other similar interests right? ^_^
 
I beg to differ, I've got friends here and some aren't even in any position.

You need to explore PC as it has lotta different sections. Look for people with similar interests as you do, it's just as simple as that. I have a Trade Shop here and I made at least 2 friends! Despite their recent busy schedules we still try to catch up whenever we can.

Don't get discouraged, try exploring everywhere else. :)
