It's a Miracle!!!

My Empoleon surviving an Earthquake from a Garchomp a few levels higher with only 2 HP left and OHKO'ing with a critical Ice Beam during my run on Platinum's something to mention regarding close calls. I got a billion more stories to tell when it comes to miracles but that one's the only one to really come to mind atm due to how recent it was.

I have one, While fighting Bugsy in SS, I had the hardest time dealing with his Scyther. my team was higher leveled and I had an Onix on my team. He was severely punishing my entire team with it until i called out my metronome Togepi, my second to last Pokemon.

I made only one hit on scyther and barely passed the 1/4th mark. I selected Metronome and Scyther used U-Turn. My Togepi was left with 1 HP and Randomly selected Self Destruct as its metronome attack KOing the Scyther and winning the Gym Battle for me with just a Paras left in reserve. (A Paras that was already poisoned and had 5 HP left.)

In LeafGreen, I was struggling to catch Moltres because of Fire Spin trapping my Pokemon in conjunction with it breaking out of most balls I threw at it. By some miracle, I caught it in an ordinary Poke Ball.

Azure Flute Arceus event, down to my last pokemon (Rampardos), and only 1 ball left. That ball caught Arceus, at near-full health. That ball was a Pokeball.

in Emerald I was battling Norman and his Slacking still had full HP and my Grovyle only had 6... I just went with what I knew and used leaf blade, then Leaf Blade finished off his Slacking in one hit

My much lower-leveled Feraligatr taking out Red's Pikachu with one Slash in Silver.
I'm still amused by that. |D

I can remember this as clear as day. I was playing Blue and wanted Articuno really, really badly. I stocked up on 50 Ultra Balls and had a Venusaur with Sleep Powder and everything. The time came for the battle, and Articuno knocks out Venusair with one shot. CRAP! My secret weapon vanquished! (In my partial defence: I was 9 at the time... this was probably the worst moment of my life, thus far!) Scrambling for something to do, I just threw all of my Pokemon at Articuno and hoped one of them would stick. When I managed to somehow get the ice bird's HP down to a minuscule level, out came the Ultra Balls and - I kid you not - all 50 of them failed. Even with my patented strategy of simultaneously mashing the A and B buttons on the Game Boy! In tears by this point (again, remember, I was 9 at this time!), I threw my last Poke Ball in despair... and, SUCCESS! The tears of utmost sorrow turned into tears of unbridled joy. While I don't believe in any omniscient and omnipresent higher power any more, I'm sure I thanked God for helping me catch Articuno with a Poke Ball.

It wasn't my miracle but my brothers. He was facing the final slaking and his last good pokemon was knocked out. All he had was a level 3 Lotad. He sent it out and every single time the gym leader always chose to use focus punch. He kept attacking it and after a while his Lotad took down Slaking. I witnessed it and laughed so much XD

Well, for 1, I was in Route 3 and I wanted to catch a Nidoran[female]. It had a 1% chance of appearing, and yet it was the 1st Pokemon I saw :D Of course I caught it.

My Victini beating the Elite Four in Black with 1hp left after I forgot to heal at the Pokemon center & I forgot to buy any healing items before I went to challenge them!

I was battling Ghetsis in Black, it was Friday, October 14th 2011.

We were both down to our last Pokemon.

Ghetsis had Seismitoad, I had Samurott.

Samurott was low on health, and I knew Torrent would kick in.

I commanded Samurott to use Surf, I was worried Seismitoad would survive and take me out but then...

"The foe's Seismitoad fainted!"

I was so relieved. I wouldn't have beaten Ghetsis if it weren't for Samurott's Torrent activating. I would always remember that to this day.

Catching Chansey in the Safari Zone with the very first Safari Ball I threw at it, during my very first visit there. Considering how frustrating it can be to even find it, I consider this a miracle. The most elusive Pokemon in the Safari Zone was accounted for in much easier fashion than I could have ever dreamed :)

Another capture relating miracle happened in that same play of Leaf Green, I captured Moltres using a single Ultra Ball after correctly timing a Surf on the same turn that it used Endure.

I think this was against the Elite Four in HeartGold, the second time around. I was heavily under-leveled, and I was just using them to level up my team, in particular a Dratini I had wanted to evolve. Since I was just levelling up my team, I was just fighting against them repeatedly for experience, and I certainly had no expectations to beat the E4.

At one point, I got up to Koga's Muk, who had (probably) +6 evasion due to Minimize and had managed to Toxic stall my entire team... except for said Dratini. Muk was Koga's last Pokemon by then, and had taken considerable damage, but still managed to avoid enough attacks to eliminate the rest of my team (or at least whoever had survived until then - I wasn't using items at the time).

What happened was interesting, to say the least. I recall it hinged on Dratini being able to hit Muk without running out of PP, Dratini not hurting itself from Swagger and Shed Skin curing Toxic whenever applicable. It was quite a long-winded battle, especially considering Muk's Black Sludge, but I do remember Dratini dealing the final blow with ExtremeSpeed while he was at red health.

Of course, I didn't get very far against Bruno with a weakened Dratini (he may have evolved at that point, but I honestly can't remember), but it was still quite a feat for me to have survived the battle against Koga, haha.
