June= Space Party Month?

    Not just a pokemon month, but a pokemon space party month? That's just sort of strange...actually, that's really, really strange o_O It even borders on creepy, especially when seeing a giant jirachi and torchic and all that in a Texas courtroom...why couldn't it just be pokemon month? Why such a freakish name? >_<;;
     
    HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *spaz* I LOVE TEXAS! The mayor of Houston is AWESOME! O_O I'm never moving away from this state. *runs around crazily* Wow! This is a dream come true! I was made to live in Texas! I'm going to go bug my mom about that little convention they're having now!

    (And yeah... Those pictures of them in the courtroom were a little freaky, but oh well. O_o You're never too old to like Pokemon! Or that guy has children, or the Pokemon Rocks America event in Houston was their biggest money-maker!)

    I'll.. go along with that. *cries* Cool... June as Pokemon Space Party Month. XD. It's like my favourite month of the year! Mayor Bill White, and Pokemon execs? Hmm o_o'

    I can't go at all. I haven't gone overseas on holiday for ages (if you don't count Malaysia), and this year's the same, I think...
    It sounds fun to me, but I was wondering if there is a hidden reason why they might have organised such an event.
     
    The only reason I could think of is that they like Pokemon in Houston... a lot. They may make this an every year thing, though it can't be said. The only way to find out I suppose would be to ask the mayor of houston or Pokemon.com themselves. Anyone have the mayor's email address? :D

    Probably money. I bet that both the Houston Space Center and the Pokemon Company made a lot of money during that event. I think that the mayor of Houston invited the Pokemon team back for this event, and they agreed. ^_^; The convention in Houston was really crowded, and everyone was buying so much stuff!

    And I'll have to look for the mayor's e-mail address, lol. I'll definately write Pokemon.com and ask them!

    Good point there. It sounds really popular with people, and it's good for tourism too.

    Ah, yeah. A lot of little kids visit the Space Center, so it is nice! ^_^; I mainly wanted to go because they're going to be showing the next movie on a huge screen. Plus, there are free gifts and everything...

    Actually, tmbjr and DragonTrainer are luckier... They live in Houston. T_T My mother said that she would've taken me if we didn't live so far away, but since it was such short notice, we won't have time. Plus that big of an event would take planning, money, (Gas = $$$) etc. so I won't be able to go. I wish that they were having it in like August or something. Hopefully they'll do this every year, but it doesn't sound like it.
     
    It's space month for a reason...just use your handy-dandy rocket boots!

    Do you know if DT or tmbjr will go? Maybe they?ll post pictures, something you still haven?t done. Nyah. =p
