I'm just going to say this because they'll be buried, but I thought that RP-ing was lame before coming here. But since the current popular style is prose which is my thing... I guess I'm eating my own words now, haha

It's kinda cool how your outlook on stuff like that can change when you step into a different environment. I'm certainly not against RPing but I won't ever go to any committed place for it, I'll just sprinkle a bit into messages on whatever threads I'm in if I feel like I want to. Everyone's got a different outlook on them, and I understand none of the styles.~

Pretty good, I didn't get a whole lot of sleep but I caught up on some accidentally, feeling better now.~

I am ty! I am passing out a bit though, I have averaged about 3-4 hours sleep a night this last week, and I've been up for 17 hours already today 😴

Not really, I haven't been doing too much lately. I did work on my signature a bit (got a smoother gif) and made a couple other ones if I decide on doing other character themes... Got one in mind eventually.

Besides that... I had breakfast?

Breakfast is always cool! I have literally waited around ALL DAY for the mechanic to call me. He couldn't replicate the problem so it didn't get fixed *bangs head against wall*

Oh that's always fun. Haven't been in that kind of situation myself but other people have told me about stuff like that and I've been sitting there while my parents have waited for people to call them all day.

Seems kinda silly the problem couldn't be replicated but hopefully it's not that bad then?

It has been happening for a while now and every time I bump into him I tell him she's burning oil. Not using much, but some is definitely burning somewhere it shouldn't be. He keeps saying, oh it can't be oil because it sounds like the smell will be your clutch. I keep telling him it isn't.

Anyway, we booked her in for today and he had her since first thing this morning. He checked everything, absolutely everything, can't find it. He caught a small whiff of the smell only once. He now tells me she's burning oil somewhere she shouldn't be but he can't locate it 😂

My sense of smell is like a super power right now, so I guess he just can't smell it as strong as me right now. I'll keep an eye on it, but at least my car is more or less safe! I think maybe the wrong grade got put in at the last service or perhaps a seal is going in the turbo. Hopefully not the latter.

Anyway there you go. The longest post you didn't want to read today, that I also didn't want to write. Cars just ain't my jam :)

waking up to 20 notifications rn so i'mma try to check 'em all before anything lol. i see y'all are talking about car problems tho and i just cannot relate lol. public commute for life (or the meantime, we'll see).

Yeah I'm the same honestly. My area just has great (in my opinion) public transportation so I've never really minded that much unless I'm out far or it's really cold.

Yeah I'm the same honestly. My area just has great (in my opinion) public transportation so I've never really minded that much unless I'm out far or it's really cold.

my area isn't that great with public transpo at all, but it's still safer to go for that than driving yourself, considering how 90% of drivers here are reckless af.

these days i'm paid a bit better, which has allowed me to take taxis more frequently.
