Well, review copies of USUM have been released so we could find out soon enough.
I bet they'll see if new Alola Forms are confirmed or not, and maybe they'll reveal more of the new previous-gen additions to the Pokedex.

I don't know why TPC would back out of a news announcement and I can't find confirmation anywhere atm. They never do that.
