which do you like better, Legendary Pokémon or the other Pokémon?

Well there aren't many legendary Pokemon that I consider as some of my favorites mainly because most aren't attractive. When I am choosing the Pokemon that I like, I base it on design and lets face it, most legendaries are ugly. This doesn't mean they aren't good Pokemon, but I just don't like them as much. So I'll say normal Pokemon. Castform and Jellicent are my 2 favorites of all time and neither is a legendary. There are also much more normal Pokemon to choose from so this was a pretty easy decision for me.

Big Legendarys look way too much like Digimonfor me to appreciate them, however my favorite Pokemon used to be Celebi,
Shaymin and Jirachi when I was younger. So I'd say I like the smaller, cuter ones.

Personally, I'd go with non-legendary Pokemon. I used to love legendaries when I was younger, though. My favourites were Zapdos, Mewtwo, Suicune, Ho-Oh, Rayquaza, Deoxys, Dialga, Giratina, and Heatran.

Nowadays, I still like these Pokemon, but not as much as I used to.

While there are a fair number of legendary Pokemon that I like, there are still many more normal Pokemon that I prefer (other than maybe Rayquaza and Articuno, I'd say 23 of my 25 favorite Pokemon aren't legendary).

For the games at least, I prefer the challenge of having to put in a little extra effort in raising a regular Pokemon to be good, rather than just using a high-leveled legendary to win my battles for me. Sure, a legendary can be helpful in a pinch when training weaker Pokemon, but I really don't care for relying on them.

I generally shun legendaries, haha. Except for the beast trio of Johto, because they are so awesome. I love their designs and mythos and all really.

But in general, I prefer pokémon to be epic in other ways than with a "legendary" label. I guess I'm mostly relating to written roleplaying now. Regarding the games, I seldom use legendaries at all. Except for Groudon in E4 in Ruby ^^ But after beating them, I usually changed back to some fire type. And I guess I'm guilty of having used Mewtwo in Kanto also, but generally I prefer non-legendary pokémon in games too.

I don't like legendaries either :) I never have them on my ingame team (unless I'm stuck and have to use them).

I prefer normal pokémon, that have a bigger range in typings and I can get more attached to.

Both actually, for a Pokemon to heavily gain my appreciation it doesn't have to be Legendary nor a non-Legendary. I mean, they all have their own useful niches after all so that doesn't hurt a lot.

I've never liked legendaries. It's always really disappointing when a new generation comes out and they've tacked on more needless ones.

Normal Pokemon for me. Legendaries are too biased to battle competitively because of their high base stats, and it's a shame that some of them are banned on the battle subway, unlike normal Pokemon.

I don't like too many legendaries, because people tend to give them more credits than they should receive. Especially the newer Pokémon fans. My only favorite legendary Pokémon are Suicune, Cresselia, Heatran, Jirachi, and Celebi. I have a lot of favorite normal Pokémon, though, and most of them come from first and third generation games. Some of these Pokémon are Vulpix, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Metagross, and Gardevoir. =)
