    Can you guys help me out healing my clinical depression and obsession with Lillie, including her maybe being in love with the player, and her leaving Alola traveling to Kanto.

    *floats out of the bag*
    "pew-pew..." ;-;

    When i first saw Lillie i thought she was going to be another quite shitty un-memorable side character, but oh boy was i wrong. The most richest, engaging, touching Pokemon character ever made.

    Her relationship with the player, her past, her look, all the detail and work that was put to her.
    This is the first time i've cried to a game, and it's a freaking Pokemon game, first time i've had a obsession to a VIDEO GAME characte...not saying there'd be nothing wrong with that, but jesus christ i'm still crying.
    I need to restore my manliness

    "Everyone's smiles shine so brightly. Those smiles led us to so many other people. And those meetings will lead us to a bright future. I'm so glad I got to meet everyone. I'm so glad I got to meet you."

    It's gonna be a long wait for the next game, and if Lillie doesn't come back...

    It's rare you have such good character development in a Pokemon game, but here we are. Loved the hoodie/skirt look she changed into during the climax. Hoodies go good with everything.

    Agreed. Overall these games just stood out for me in every department, especially the character development. All the cutscenes and stuff where we got to know about them, and of course how they all looked. The rivals as we consider Hau and Gladion where a good mix of all the previous rivals. Professor Kukui was....daddy.

    .

    I agree with this! Not only we can see her story, but we can see her relations with other characters..

    Spoiler:

    I loved Lillie so much. She and the Professor were my favorite characters. When I first met her I thought wow how annoying and got Wally vibes (the helplessness probably) but WOW SIS YOU CHANGED MY LIFE LUV U. And her story/relationships had me shook.

    Sorry, I had to. {XD}

    But on a serious note, I really liked Lillie as a character. Her development, as well as her dialogue at the end parts of the story made me really enjoy her company in my adventure. Game Freak made strides in development of their characters with Sun and Moon's release, Lillie being the best example of this. I'm hoping that they make more characters like her in future games.

    Yes! And if they bring Lillie back sometime, it won't be the same, because we'd be playing with a different MC, so the bonds that we shared will not be the same. Gamefreak would probably never do it, that we'd play with the same MC, and besides im confused if we'd go back to Kanto again...it's just a feeling that she'd never come back again. As you said, hopefully we'll get more characaters like her in the future.

    IT COULD HAVE BEEN A KISS OR THAT SHE WOULD NOT HAVE LEFT...
    Okay the shitstorm if she'd either kiss the boy, but not the girl, or that she'd kiss both.

    I, too, have an obsession with Lillie. She's just a really memorable character, both in personality and in appearance. Wish she'd stay after the game was done so that we could deal with the UBs together or something...I also have a lot of Lillie fan art in my fan art folder, all of which are extremely adorable and always bring a smile to my face...

    help me

    Hopefully we'll see her again in a possible sequel/third game! Imagine being able to battle Lillie after she becomes a full-fledged Trainer! It's exciting stuff. n.n

    And if we'd get to play as the same MC so Lillie would remember us, that would be the best. Lillie as a Champion battle?

    See, that's what I'm conflicted on. Idk if it'd be more of a B2W2 thing where you play a different MC but have the timeline take place in the future so Lillie would be talking about this awesome trainer (referring to the SM MC) that she once traveled with, etc. Would you prefer it that way or with us playing the same MC?

    The same MC, mut GameFreak will never do that. Tbh just seeing Lillie again in a Pokemon would me make happy.

    Lillie as Champion would definitely be interesting. If she does return to Alola having developed into a strong trainer after taking on the Kanto league, then I'm sure Kukui wouldn't have any qualms in making her the Champion. See idk how the Alolan league woulda work in a sequel, but if there ever was an open spot for a Champion then Lillie would fit the bill.

    Sun & Moon sequel, when Lillie has already came back to Alola? It's just weird seeing us going to Kanto again, it will be very interesting what next game will be, so many questions left unanswered, so many options.

    Lillie was quite a character. It was sad for me that she had to go as well.

    And by the way, I prefer her "normal form" over her "Z-Powered form" for some reason.

    Outstanding character development. Let's face it, the story is all about Lillie. The player is just support, or a vehicle for the the true story. Lillie leaving at the end was a huge wrench, although one should remember that she was excited rather than leaving under duress, she was about to undertake a new adventure.
