i know it's gonna be hard work drawing that part when i get to it, though 😑 *if i get to it at all... the script is just not coming to me... 😑*but again, i've somehow not been thinking about it 😅 😢

I'm sorry to hear you're having some trouble thinking of the script... A fun thing I like to do to help me with that part of storywork is to watch a movie or play a game and think to myself 'what would *whichever character* do or say in this situation?' and use that to help find inspiration.

one bit of info i thought of today, for buttermilk... : she's a little afraid of dark places 😮
which i imagine that that forest from the previous post is probably bound to be in some parts.....

Oh yeah, if it's a really overgrown forest it's bound to have some really dark spots. And her being afraid of the dark fits well!

& i think she's gonna be able to learn how to use certain magics... since i said a long while ago, that there is magic in the world/country of abiru....

i'm not letting her use swords, though... that's one item i won't let her have...

I'm sure you can get some ideas of what to draw from stuff like that, almost like how you want to theme the dark forest after those Pokemon cards.

you know... maybe if/when she grows up a bit more, she'll be able to use spells a bit more effectively... : o
cause as of now at the age she's at.... i don't think she can use it properly...

edit at 8:56 pm: unless....... unless she's able to use some alright, already.... lina in the slayers anime was able to cast a certain spell.. i forget which one... when she was 10 after all, i think i remember hearing about....

You could always do a second comic story with Buttermilk more grown up! That would let you use this artwork for her as well!

i'm playing little kitty, big city on a new save again, & i found out it really is possible to avoid breaking the flower pots just how she wants to do... by jumping over them

layla has a new friend...

a ladybug named thalia .... her name means ''Blooming, Flourishing" in Greek
she just so happens to meet her first... by a van on the railing... well, in game, it was on top of the van... but.. eh :>
she's been helping layla get the shinies that are high up.... :3

also... i'm gonna disregard the fruit ,veg & other hats, like the cactus, shark & fish.... all others but the banana & the other animals....
cause... banana slug exists... 😮


& fiona the duck is most likely the 2nd one to meet up with her :o

Of course. It's not exactly easy to just come up with the full plot of a story after all, but I know you'll get there at some point. The important thing is that you keep working on it! :p

You could always just draw people as shoes and legs, as if the camera was only focussed on your kitty, rather than any human faces. It's a bit hard to describe, but if you get what I mean, it could help fix the 'drawing people' issue. Or if there's going to be people in the background, you can just blur the face area, it's not like a cat could see them from so far away anyway. :p

speaking of people.... i'm currently drawing a monkey for buttermilk's world... that's as close to a person as i'm ever gonna get 😅... but i think i'll keep the details of that to myself for now....
