He certainly looks very complicated to draw, that's for sure... But you're doing a good job on him yourself so far!



Were you planning on copying that example art as closely as possible? Because if so you're missing one of the heads. Otherwise it looks really good so far!

Being a princess, chacha knows when to be graceful and when to be confident

she needs to have her own set of personality & characteristics & not just copy a slayers character

i've been making adjustments to my dnd-turned-slayers oc, saria gracewood.... .. .. only to her hair currently... i gave her a hair makeover & changed her eyes

& i don't know how but... by doing that & making her hair more manageable for both her & me, i think i've also made her look cuter... is that possible?! i guess so

Try drawing an 'e', then keep going with more 'e's like a chain, (it'll look like a swirl if you're doing it right) if you do three of those next to each other it'll look like those spiral tails in the background.

Gonna have to pass on the anime sadly, I'm not a big anime person in general (with a couple of exceptions), and from what I've seen from looking it doesn't seem like my kinda show. But it's really cool that you've taken so much inspiration from it, and have used it to draw so many more Paprika pictures! ^^

Okay wow, this one is very impressive! Considering how difficult learning to draw 2 separate characters is on it's own, you did a fantastic job drawing them merged together like that! (yes I know they're hugging haha :p)

i redid her hands... well, she's got fists... (i'm not confidant with my drawing hands... i know i'm gonna have to, sometimes, though __ __ ) i tried my best, anyway ... & so i gave her gloves, too... i think she looks great in them :3

& i put her poinsetta on her belt...to make for her gloves... she still loves it... & it's still stated that her mum gave it to her : D

ribbon, clara's (my) pet kitty.... here, she's hissing at xellos a bit.... cause i think she can somehow sense his demon aura... :o so she's free to hiss at him even a little...

Seems like you've got a good range of emotion faces for her! If you ever desided to play an actual game of dnd with people, you'd have plenty to choose from to suit the story moments!

Could call it 'Draco Cannon' and change the orb color a bit (maybe make it pink to match her ribbon?) and it could easily be 'official' canon. (meaning that someon from Slayers wouldn't get mad for copying) If you'd really like it in there, I don't see a reason not to have it. And her arms for it look fine. ^^

Hands and fet might still be tough for you, but you're getting noticibly really good at drawing her face and eyes. Somone could tell me that top one actually came from a manga or something and I wouldn't doubt them. Your recent practice is really paying off for Paprika.

One thing to note on his artwork really quick. His 'fingers' (the slits in his paws that separate each of where his claws are) would not be visible from this angle, so being able to see them makes it look like his arm is bent in an odd way. Just something to consider.
Now then, his design is really nice! Especially how well you did on his face!

Yeah, I'd have been disappointed if you'd gotten rid of Cloud... She's too cute to not be in the story at least to some degree...

& i literally took the kanji version of the dragon slave spell from the kanzaka wiki, put it in google translate... & it gave me a slightly different way of saying the spell... & i took it, after a bit of tweaking in google translate :3

Hands and feet might still be tough for you, but you're getting noticibly really good at drawing her face and eyes. Someone could tell me that top one actually came from a manga or something and I wouldn't doubt them. Your recent practice is really paying off for Paprika.

One thing to note on his artwork really quick. His 'fingers' (the slits in his paws that separate each of where his claws are) would not be visible from this angle, so being able to see them makes it look like his arm is bent in an odd way. Just something to consider.
Now then, his design is really nice! Especially how well you did on his face!

Yeah, I'd have been disappointed if you'd gotten rid of Cloud... She's too cute to not be in the story at least to some degree...

she's staying as part of the main cast for sure

He looks really friendly! Like someone you'd just want to give an orange to so you could watch him eat it haha!

Could call it 'Draco Cannon' and change the orb color a bit (maybe make it pink to match her ribbon?) and it could easily be 'official' canon. (meaning that someon from Slayers wouldn't get mad for copying) If you'd really like it in there, I don't see a reason not to have it.
