Seems like you've got a good range of emotion faces for her! If you ever desided to play an actual game of dnd with people, you'd have plenty to choose from to suit the story moments!

Hands and feet might still be tough for you, but you're getting noticibly really good at drawing her face and eyes. Somone could tell me that top one actually came from a manga or something and I wouldn't doubt them. Your recent practice is really paying off for Paprika.

One thing to note on his artwork really quick. His 'fingers' (the slits in his paws that separate each of where his claws are) would not be visible from this angle, so being able to see them makes it look like his arm is bent in an odd way. Just something to consider.

Even if the original creator is okay with copying aspects of his work doesn't mean that the company publishing his manga or anime will be. Not saying you can't 'just do what you like', and I won't pretend like I don't think you should be able to as well. I'm just saying to be aware of exactly how much you directly take from something popular to use in an original creation.

& i literally took the kanji version of the dragon slave spell from the kanzaka wiki, put it in google translate... & it gave me a slightly different way of saying the spell... & i took it, after a bit of tweaking in google translate :3

Interestingly, Saria looks like she's either in pain, or is sad for some reason, whereas Lina looks more annoyed by something or someone in the picture. And I think either cape looks nice! ^^

I prefer the way you drew Saria here over how Lina looks. Lina's eyes are much too exaggerated looking for my taste. Saria's on the other hand look much more appropriate. Fantastic job!

I really did like your Lucky Ribbon as well. The colors just looked really good paired with Lot the Pika-sona's lighter fur.

just.... i've watched slayers so many times...(the sub, 3 & a half times... that being the seasons when i started, then the 2nd time, i watched it starting with the ovas & first 4 movies in sub & then going around again , starting with the ovas again in sub.... eng dub, twice)

I like the name Paprika too, but that also opens the door of potentially renaming her whole family after various spices. :p

Try drawing an 'e', then keep going with more 'e's like a chain, (it'll look like a swirl if you're doing it right) if you do three of those next to each other it'll look like those spiral tails in the background.
